IGA will have much more trouble on this surface than the French Open. Especially against Coco Gauff. It doesn't mean she will not win, but topspin isn't as effective on grass. Wimbledon is for great serve and volley players. It always has been. Don't be surprised if Coco turns tables on her and beats her here.

I like COCO a lot and same for SINNER....BUT will go with IGA and CARLOS.....im watching RADU....wow...always soooo pleasant to look at....lol.

It was JAQUELINE CRISTIAN from BUCARES/26y.old , ranked # 62....BIANCA will play tomorrow LINDA NOSKOVA, ranked #26.....will be a tougher one...and LEYLAH will play today LUCIA BRUNZETTI ranked 81.....should be ok.

I told all of you guys it would be harder for Iga on grass. She has only made QF of Wimbledon once. Putintseva steamrolled her 6-2, 6-1 in last 2 sets. I would have thought Iga would be in trouble with one of the bigger players with a power serve, but Putintseva is a MUCH smaller girl than Iga. She's not known for her power. Putintseva is the Russian version of Leylah. Same size.

Not really a huge surprise in the sense that topspin does not cut it on grass. Iga needs to improve serve and volley game or she will never win Wimbledon. She has 5 French opens 1 US Open. She might win 14 French Opens like Nadal, but she needs more than topspin on other courts.

Sad sad moment today to see KEYS leaving with injury at 5-5 third set.....she was leading the third 5-2 et soudainement une blessure à la cuisse.....from there it was over.....she was in tears....sad sad sad.....so PAOLINI walks to quarters...

Tough break for Keys, who has had really bad luck with injuries and assorted other issues. It's especially brutal to have an injury while winning the deciding set with the taste of victory in her mouth......just 2 points away from the win!!!!!!!!
