3-seed Sabalenka out of Wimbledon with injury

No. 3 seed Aryna Sabalenka of Belarus has withdrawn from Wimbledon due to a shoulder injury. Emina Bektas of the U.S., who was due to face Sabalenka, will now play Erika Andreeva.

Unfortunate and concerning. I hope she doesn't need surgery because shoulder surgeries are a serious roll of the dice.

IGA will have much more trouble on this surface than the French Open. Especially against Coco Gauff. It doesn't mean she will not win, but topspin isn't as effective on grass. Wimbledon is for great serve and volley players. It always has been. Don't be surprised if Coco turns tables on her and beats her here.
