So Bianca will play again Kerber tonight at 21h30.....3 matchs in 3 days....c'est très exigeant physiquement et mentalement....d'autant plus que cette fois Kerber va avoir le couteau entre les dents.....n'a sûrement pas digéré sa défaite en finale d'Indian Wells.....son body langage en disait long...go Bianca go.

Oh wow....went to bed at 1h30 BUT was rewarded....ANDREESCU won again vs KERBER in 3 sets...she defeated her twice in 6 days,,,incredible. Bianca won first set 6-4, was leading easily 4-1 in the second BUT lost her touch and lost 6-4.....honestly i was sure she was done and i thought going to bed....BUT no,no,no.....

ANDREESCU est indestructible...10 matchs joués et GAGNÉS en 18 jours....how great it is to be 18.....

-note....Malheureux que ce match--qui a débuté tardivement à 23h20---ait été disputé dans un stadium de 14,000 places avec présents autant de spectateurs qu'il y en avait devant mon téléviseur...lolll..et j'étais plus bruyant...lolll

Indian Wells was a great tournament . Especially if you were a Canadian tennis fan.
The men excelled and made deep runs. And of course on the women’s side a new star emerged by the name of Bianca Andreescu.
Seems to me like she has an all around game,, she’s not a traditional baseliner. But now it remains to be seen how she will deal with added expectations next time around after her surprising success at IW.
Nevertheless she’s only 18 and surely her tennis future looks bright. Well done Bianca.

..yep and she is on today on her way to quarters. And again Aliassime yesterday won another big one vs another young solid kid HURKACZ who defeated last week Thiem and Nishikori........Shapovalov is on today.

Halep,Venus move on BUT Sloane---defending Champ--- played an horrible match yesterday

Malheureusement ANDREESCU is out...she retired in the second set with shoulder's injury....lost first set 1-6.ans was 0-2.in the second. Now she needs some weeks off to rest and reset.....

BUT SHAPOVALOV and ALIASSIME are still on.....SHAPO played a very solid match yesterday......both play today....SHAPO vs TSITSIPAS tonight should be a good one.

Bianca is out of the Miami tournament, but I must say she is a real joy to watch. Her technique is incredibly impressive, I don't even know who else has so much variety with different kinds of shots.

I hope she will develop into a real star, not a flash in the pan like Bouchard.

Re-wow.....SHAPOVALOV also in the quarters with Ali....he defeated in 3 sets another young and talented TSITSIPAS....:clap2:...tout un accomplissement d'avoir 2 Canadiens in quarters in such an important tournament.,ALIASSIME in on tonight vers les demis-finales

Big surprise,,DJOKO is out...lost to Bautista-Agut......so the door is open for FEDERER...OR SHAPO OR ALI.....:fat:

AMAZING.....ALIASSIME WILL PLAY IN SEMIFINALS après sa victoire en 2 sets sur Coric......he will play tomorrow the giant ISNER--defending Champ---a big big hitter-server BUT who also could have a bad day at the office.

Felix becomes the youngest player to reach tournament semifinals in Miami....wow.

And remember he is a qualifier...won 7th staight games in 10 days,,,,c'est incroyable......and in 2019 he is 5-0 vs 5 top 20 players.

Today at 3 SHAPOVALOV plays TIAFOE.....should be able to move also in semis......wow...ce serait du jamais vu et une belle page d'histoire.

We would like to think so but she seems to have other priorities in life.....alors que those kids are entirely dedicated to their tennis career and to be winners...ce que l'on ne sent pas chez Bouchard.

Nobody was saying that when she reached Wimbledon final. Quite the opposite. There has been plenty of story like Bouchard in tennis history. We do not remember them because they were not Canadian and there were not as attractive as Bouchard. Some have come back starting winning at 26-27 and even later. Will she be that kind? I doubt but only her can prove me wrong.

Cheers,

Agree....I saw it coming when I compared her to Kournikova in a thread a few years ago
