This is nuts..one of the major reasons why I've avoided vacationing in Europe lately. I think it's only going to get worse.

Of course it will. Same thing with the Russian ambassador's assassination. More & more terrorist attacks & assassinations will happen especially because of the Russian/Syrian massacre in Aleppo. The Russians and Syrians have bombed the shit out of civilians in Aleppo and have killed or injured hundreds of thousands of their people. Hospitals and schools have been bombed. The Russians and Syrians have no regard for life and most of the bombs have been dropped randomly on innocents.

And with the future president (Donald Trump) constantly praising Russia and Vladimir Putin, will terrorists and Aleppo objectors see this as the United States condoning the massacres and war crimes currently being committed by the Russians and Syrians??? Will they see this as Trump being in cahoots with Putin and Al-Assad?

We live in a dangerous world and it will likely only get more dangerous.

Says who? The news?

The world has not been this peaceful in centuries. War is down, crime is down, physical violence is down... How is the world 'more dangerous' or going to be when the facts show the opposite?

Are you reading too much fake news? I believe you are.

I'm sorry but didn't you just say earlier that the Russian ambassador being shot was "fake news"?

Yes, it's upsetting. I feel sad about the world situation. I also get more upset when there are more intense singular episodes of innocent deaths in Aleppo or Berlin. I haven't gone cold to feeling worse when such things happen. Sorry if you have. And try to avoid that stuff where you say no one is innocent.

Being more upset when some singular disaster overlays the more constant tragedies doesn't mean anyone was less aware or less feeling before.

i have trips planned to amsterdam and berlin within the next 4 months so yes it does scare me but not to the point of cancelling.

like others have pointed out americans kills much more americans than isis does. It does not bother us because its poor fuck up people that kills poor other fuck up people because of easy access to guns.

we are outraged when pure innocent are killed by isis but indifferent when our own people are killed because they are poor or black

cheers,

No, no. Not quite true. We do not care if a black man is killed by another black man. Nobody cares but especially the the black community. The black community doesn't give a shit if this happens. But a good number of people riot and protest when a policemen kills a black man and a great number of people that show up to protest are white. Case in point the heroin attack and petty thief in Baltimore and the gentle giant Michael Brown in Saint Louis that knocked over a little Indian shop keeper as he was stealing cigars and then attacked a police officer.

I have to go to Europe too. There is a terrorist attack every 72 hours. I don't know what the right answer is because I meet a number of Euros that are Muslim but they have assimilated and they have to tell you that they are Muslim. However, there are a great deal that have not assimilated. This is a huge problem because I feel the same way that Bill Mahar does about that religion.

Why? People are going to die and people will always kill people. Shouldn't you be happy that less of it is happening overall?

You're not black.

Want to solve religion? Get rid of it - especially the big three. Judaism, Christianity and Islam.

I find it funny that in 2016 anyone still believes in any of that shit.

That's because poor screwed up people killing each other is not newsworthy and doesn't sell commercial time on prime time TV.

To quote Eminem "Now look where it's at, Middle America, now it's a tragedy, now it's so sad to see, an upper-class city, having this happening" (the way I am).

From school shootings to civil dis-rest, those words are true.

None of what we're seeing is new... It's just that now that we may, maybe, possibly, be targets of violence; that we even care.

Look behind you.
Everyone feels sorry for the innocent people being slaughtered by terrorists but mention to carpet bomb the regions of their strongholds and you get a response of " that would be too cruel or not humain ". I agree that religion is the cause of most killings and people should realize there is no God, far too many things prove it is a false belief.... For the bleeding hearts, if it was not in the news you would not care, thousands get slaughtered in African villages, not in the news so no one cares.

I am not religious but can’t agree with this common believe about religion. You can use religion in both ways: to kill and to heal and yes, people use religion often to justify the killing, but the real driving force even if it is subconscious usually is not in the realm of religion. Do you think atheists would have any difficulties to justify wars, genocide if they want to? They will come with other pseudo religious or even “scientific” theories. We have seen plenty of this in our recent history. Read Jonathan Swift what reason can be used to wage a war.

Blah blah blah.
Selective sensitivity because actually having to give a shit about something constant you can contribute to changing would take real effort.

And your contribution "to changing" with "real effort" is responding on a sex board?

Reports are the mass murderer in this case left his ID in the vehicle.

http://www.cnn.com/2016/12/21/europe/berlin-christmas-market-truck/index.html

Anis Amri is being sought in Monday's truck attack, which left 12 people dead and 48 injured at Breitsheidplatz, a wanted notice issued Wednesday by the German federal prosecutor's office said.

Unless he can escape the country it's a matter of time before he's caught.
