A friend of mine went to the Montreal Casino this past saturday and the rate was 1.3685. He turned in $1350US and got almost $500 free Canadian Dollars. Somewhere on here someone was saying the Casino no longer exchanged money, not true and also there were no fees to do so.

Definitely not true, i did the same last week also, you go to the service desk and an exchange is made in the easiest way and better rate there then the bank. Yes, i exchanged 400$US and received 546$ Canadian.

The catch is, those slot machines are calling your name after you get all that free money lol...my friend made a donation of $140 to those slot machines before he left the casino. Speaking of the casino, it took us about an hour to go the last 2K in traffic leading up to the casino saturday, the place was absolutely jam packed! I guess the first saturday of the new year, people had visions of starting it out by winning a lot of money, sadly i am sure many lost a bundle but that is how it goes. Myself i won $150 at the Chez Paree slot machines this past weekend, it paid for my evening there  I never win at the Montreal Casino.

Well, i am not into the slots but i didn't go there to just exchange money, so i threw some dice and pulled some blackjacks and walked away with 75$ more, i was happy, had a good day and then off to work to make my honest money.

I have a feeling Smuler's looking for his chopper keys again....

How I wish I could flip my trips around

Euro today-1.08
CDN dollar- 1.41

Colombian peso-3256.00

Chica wise- the best deal for me right now is a toss up between Barcelona and Medellin

Even @ 1.41, Canada is the most expensive option

Best Regards

Sorry Smuler but I take it you are headed to Columbia? Are the SP's in Columbia as beautiful and as good (in terms of GFE) as the Quebecoise spinners in Montreal? Maybe I'm risk adverse and paranoid that I might be kidnapped in Columbia, which is a very beautiful country based on the many travel shows I've seen, especially those with Anthony Bourdain in his "No Reservation", "Layover" and "Parts Unknown": he did a couple of excellent pieces on Montreal; and he also loves Columbia.

In any event, I'm sure you'll have a wonderful on your trip(s); great way to kick of the New Year.

The way how the USD rise relative to the CAD is just too laughable to the point of scary. Like geopolitical scary. But.... enjoy it while it lasts.

LOVE IT :D

And have enjoyed both countries recently. I'll be torn between Medellin and Montreal again this year if this keeps up.... but may just do both again. :eyebrows:

BadChap- the quality and service is very good in both cities. Some beauties and lots of hotties in Medellin at 50-75% the price for one hour, but more silicone and less BBBJ (though it can be found). For multiple hours or all night for the cost of 1-2 Montreal hours, Medellin is the clear winner.

Cool. Thanks for sharing your wisdom and insights :D I prefer all natural  I often wonder how it would be to spend 24 hours with an SP, at a "reasonable" cost.

Went as high as 1.4189 almost touching 1.42. Wow. The exchange rate is better than I first entered this hobby in 2004 when it was 1.36.

CAD below .70$ US

Thats a 13 years low. Avec la barrière psychologique du .70 franchie, la chute devrait s accentuer. Une sp a 200$ CAD est une economie à 140 US ! Je pense que le tourisme sexuel américain va rouler fort :-D
