Montreal Escorts

The Montreal scene seems to not be the same as it was before I left town.

I just returned to Montreal and it seems that 90% of the massage places have closed up. There use to be from 5 to 10 massage places on every major street. On streets like Jean Talon, Queen Mary, Sherbrooke, St. Denis, Ontario street there were no shortages of massage places. There was some talk from the mayor of closing them all down. did he make good on his promise?

The mayor is a “she”, not a “he”. I was in Mtl twice this summer after an absence of three years & indeed found that things had changed. Several bars or restaurants that i used to frequent over the years were permanently closed. Other places that were still open were a bit chaotic because of staff shortages. Hotels & Air BnB were overpriced & sp rates had went up considerably since the last time i had hobbyied & all my favorites from past years had retired. While there were still a few familiar agencies still around most of their girls were totally unknown to me. Damn covid!

Things have definitely changed post COVID. But, it wasn't that great before COVID. I enjoyed hobbying in Montreal before COVID but it was mostly because of the many contacts accumulated over the years. That all went to shit when the border closed and many of the girls I knew left the business and started families. The glory days of the early 2000's may never return. Damn that COVID is right!

I think all of you are right many things have changed restaurants, bars closing, many of the ladies retiring disappearing and rates have gone up considerably. So yes damn Covid.
None of this is an improvement.
For me luckily not much has changed I still see my ATF and occasionally another lady, I haven’t felt the need to start experimenting with new ones yet.
The few new ones that I find totally gorgeous are way over priced, not out of reach, but for now I am not willing to do that.

Well I can say that the Montreal scene has not been the same even way before Covid. Montreal was at its very top around early to late 2000s. This was the time when the HDH market was strong, the exchange rate of USD/CAD was very favorable and another factor was Montreal SPs were touring U.S. cities. Agencies like MGF/I-N and now MyFrenchLady, The Courtesans, MySecretClub and a host of others. That attracted many quality girls into the scene. Not saying the girls now are any lower in quality but back then you want to see them all. LOL. I have noticed that once the U.S. touring stopped around 2013 or so it has been a slow change to what is now today and Covid kind of speed that up. It is not bad but just different from when I entered the scene in summer of 2004. When I discovered the hobby in 2004 I didn't want to leave!

I tend to agree, and while COVID has had a huge impact, I noticed things regressing around 2017. But even then I saw some really hot escorts.

Compared to the US scene, Montreal is still very good, but when you factor in travel costs for a weekend, you can make an argument to stay home and see local girls in places like NYC/NNJ. Lesser quality around here for sure, but it really depends on what appointments you might have landed in Montreal that particular weekend. You’re not always going to get the A list girls in Montreal when you visit.

Is there an argument to be made that 20 something girls today are just not as sexually open (or sexual) as they were a few years ago, despite Tinder, empowerment, etc?

Here’s the 2017 thread:

Yep. Agree. Started in Montreal in 2017. Lots of options, lots of girls, lots of agencies. Every trip, I had 30+ SPs on my TDL.

In 2019... I had maybe 5-10 SPs on my TDL every trip... still a good time, but less and less. I stopped going to MTL as much.

These days? I was planning on a trip in Oct and last week, but there were no new SPs on my TDL.... so I just skipped it

Yes, the Puriteen Generation is coming of age.

Montreal is still the best place in North America for 18-22 year olds, but there is a noticeable decline in younger escorts everywhere in the Western World.

I believe OFs and MPs might be a big factor in the decline of 18-22 yr old escorts in the western world.

I’ve been hobbying for 15 years in NJ and NYC. If you use reputable agencies that have been around forever, and that screen appropriately, and both parties know what not to discuss over text, then it’s one of the safest places to see escorts.
It is possible LE can manage to do what they did in Atlanta a couple of years ago. Infiltrate the organization, plant cameras (subsequently throw out by judge) at incalls but the damage was done to those johns who pleaded out.

Agency can be reputable and screen but it doesn't meant they are impervious. LE doesn't even have to go thru the front door of getting past screening if they look at it from the financials in the backend or flip the girls. As Atlanta case has shown, the cases against the johns don't have to stand up in court; you could be hosed just by being arrested.

As someone who visits only a few times a year at most, I can say it's very rare I don't have a MTL TDL that makes me a bit giddy / excited about returning. It might be a shorter list at times, at the moment I've got about 10-15 on my TDL, at least 5 of which I'm super excited about seeing or repeating with. While I'm sure I've had longer lists before, it's enough.

Pretty sure RobertNYC wasn’t suggesting going to an incall location in the South with multiple women working at the lower-end of the hourly rate scale.

Atlanta is not sex-work friendly, especially with respect to multi-lady incall. We all knew that long before the bust you are describing.

NYC / NNJ is much safer. Nothing is ever completely safe, of course. Outcall is safest for Johns, while incall is safest for the sex workers, so that can be a conflict. But incall gets less safe for everyone if it is in a fixed location, and much less safe if there is more than one lady there at a time. And as I said, price per hour matters a lot. The higher the price, the lower the risk.

A recent large bust in Florida in a large house included such characteristics as an underaged girl working in one of the rooms who the owners of the house had met in the parking lot of a drugstore, and illegal drugs being sold in another room of the house. Good luck getting out of that mess if you are there when the cops show up. Quite a bit different than a reviewed escort who screens going to your hotel room in Manhattan.
Precisely, Patron. NNJ, especially the Meadowlands area, is one of the escort capitals of the US. And Patron, you know the agencies I’m referring to and that I use.

if you digress from those agencies that have been around forever and that LE likely knows about, you could end up in jeopardy. Busts do happen in NJ, and it’s often the bottom feeders and stings at Rodeway Inns and Motel 6s.

You do build capital and good will with reputable agencies you frequently use, and get to know the owners, and certainly know who is texting back to you while making an appointment.

I think Transatlantuc was referring to brothels in GA Thats a far cry from a single upscale agency girl at a nice hotel in the Meadowlands. I don’t even think twice about LE involvement in those situations, especially if we are enjoying a $30 glass of wine at the hotel bar area.

A few upscale agencies have been in business in NNJ for 14 or 15 years, and are quite particular about their clientele, who pay $350-$450/hour these days.

That said, there are some popular NNJ agencies I will not use. Too much drama, too risky.

Yes, and the Sugar System is a big draw.

For the ones who do participate in sex work, they like a system where it is seems very safe and tgey watch all those videos on the Seeking site that imply tgat sex might not even be part of the deal.
I think you are missing one other thing that is attractive about SA: the thought of having one regular Sugar Daddy is a whole hell of a lot more appealing than working as an escort and having your pussy pounded 5-10 times a day by men who are total strangers. The girl I see regularly told me that being intimate with one guy regularly is what she was looking for. While this attitude is not true of all SBs, it's a common theme and many are looking for a monogamous arrangement with one guy who isn't a stranger, who they have an opportunity to connect with (or not) and is someone they know in advance what he is looking for and what that is worth to him.

The other draw is good money for a time commitment that is relatively short. For the 18-22s who have classes and part time jobs and very little free time on their hands, the realistic economic alternatives are short and lucrative dates on SA or driving for Door Dash or Uber Eats which is more time and less money. I did date one lady who was full time with Door Dash and part time dating SDs. Nice girl, high school grad struggling to make ends meet and support her mother and son and sister who were all living with her as the only source of household income.

The safety issues have been over discussed and overrated in these threads. However, for many women on SA, the advent of Zoom and video chats on SA is a comfort as far as safety screening. The logic of that perception has been attacked, but because perception becomes reality, the logic is completely irrelevant. It simply is what it is, and what it is is a safety concern ameliator.

So all of these factors have served to deplete the pool of 18-22s escort candidates in the past 5-7 years, as SD sites have increased in popularity. Just speaking for myself personally, it's replaced seeing escorts. I see one woman regularly now for the past couple years since I was ditched by another one after declining a request to be her Baby Daddy after an arrangement morphed into a relationship. I kind of feel sorry for you guys that supply has been depleted, but it is what it is. It's the market. Just like with the irreversible spread of automation, you can't stop the development of this economic ecosystem within the commercial sex industry. It's here to stay.

Patron had been predicting the demise of SA for the last 10 years. Then he found out Matt Goetz was on SA and there was a palpable epiphany in his posts. He realized that all the politicians, who drive LE agendas, are dirty devils on SA and, like Goetz, are on a feeding frenzy for 18-22s (and in his case maybe younger). Once Patron had that epiphany, he realized that LE is controlled by politicians and politicians like Trump and Goetz need SA. So it ain't going anywhere nor are the dozens of like websites.

The Atlanta agency was similar tier as an Euphoria/XO; not sure if that is what you considered as lower-end. I interpret low-end as street walker/drug addict; the one that got busted weren't those. Some girls were college students and/or had a legitimate side job and incall was a rental in similar conditions as Euphoria but in a safe suburban neighborhood. I was partaking in Atlanta a year or two before that bust. Other similar agencies went dark/underground afterwards.

Agency did screening but looks like that wasn't stringent enough to prevent LE from getting a warrant to tap the incalls with cameras.

It probably wasn’t a coincidence that one of the guys on the camera was an assistant prosecutor that the cops rejoiced in his demise. Honestly, I think there was some bad blood between him and some cops, and it was their discovery that he was a customer that generated the police interest in the case.

This is similar to what happened to former NYC gov Eliot Spitzer. Rumor is he was going after Wall Street and Wall Street saw an opening to stop him in his use of this high-end agency. You may be caught in the cross-fire even with a protected high-end agency.

High-end NYC busts are not unheard of. This one was well-known: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jason_Itzler

Their records were also seized. This worry is part of the reason I have not done anything locally.

For Canadians, getting busted in the US is a nightmare. It's a criminal offence, so now you're getting entangled with the US legal system.

If you somehow make it out, then count on being barred from the US for many years. And then try to explain to your future employers why you're banned from entering the US.

I think it may be because the baby boom is over. M old high school only has about 25% of the kids as compared to when I was going there.
