WOW what a game... disappointed with the outcome... one of the strangest games I've ever watched... crazy ending... Should be a great game next week for Dallas
Hello Dee,

Wow...I went to bed figuring Dallas would lose. Too bad they didn't, but I was shocked by how badly they played. If they do that next week they will die in agony.

Cheers,

sad sack bills

The bills coaching staff should be shot!!!!!!! You've got a chance to pull of a HUGE upset and you blow it with STUPID playcalling!!!!! Buffalo is up 8, 3:30 left in the game, 3rd and 8 from the dallas 20 and they THROW??? Run the ball, kick a gimme field goal, you're up 11 and the game is basically over. Instead we all saw what happened. It was fun to watch though, especially flipping back and forth between the Yankees/Cleveland.

week 6

  • Ravens vs Rams: Unless a divine intervention, the Ravens should take it over the impossible to win Rams!
  • Minessotta vs Chicago: Chicago, the defense will carry them over;
  • Browns vs Dolphins: Browns come back from their defeat against the Pats and take this one;
  • Washington vs Green Bay: I'm taking Green Bay cause of Favre!;
  • Huston vs Jacksonville: This could go to anyone, am taking Huston cause of the kicker, man did you saw his last game winning kick:eek: ;
  • Bengals vs Chiefs: Well KC is not as bad as I thought and Cinci is worst than I thought so I will take KC to go;
  • Philly vs NYJ: I confirm, I do not think the Jets are that good, Eagles all the way on this one;
  • TB vs Tenessee: I like Tampa yet it will be Tenessee on this one;
  • Carolina vs Arizona: Battle of division leaders, Panthers on this one;
  • NE vs Big D; Battle of the unbeaten and some will say the best of the NFC ( Dallas ) vs the best of the AFC ( NE - Indy migth argue that one:rolleyes: ). Although I can not shake the idea that cheating, even if it was just one person, should not be rewarded, it seems to me after watching last week that NE has lots of weapons and is in synchro, Dallas is at times great and at times not, going with the Pats here, although with my record that migth not be such a good thing for all of you Pats fans!;) ;
  • Oakland vs SD: The Chargers make it 2 in a row and overtake the lead on this division;
  • NO vs Seattle: This is my upset of the week as NO finally wins one;
  • NYG vs Atlanta: The G man on this one.
There you go

Hello CJ,

You have the predictions to yourself this week since I am stuck on vacation in Montreal with all of these ladies...lol. After my 12-2 success last week I guess I will pass on the opportunity to out match anyone else this week.

Wow...YOU...picking New England after going against them when they faced much lesser teams. My my my...you are either getting broad minded and forgiving or you are becoming a believer...CAN IT BE.

Happy pickings,

Korbel

Here's who i picked in this weekend's games:

Cincy over the awful Chiefs
Jacksonville over surprising Houston
Cleveland over the terrible Dolphins
Minny over the slumping Bears
Philly over the wingless Jets
Baltimore over the ramless Rams
Tennessee over the very good Buckaneers
Green Bay in a tight one over Washington
Arizona over the Jake-less Panthers
Dallas over Tom Brady & the Patriots
San Diego over the average Raiders
Seattle over the enigmatic Saints
Giants over awful Atlanta on Monday Night Football

Hello Doc,

Dying to see if you will pick the 0-6 Dolphins over the Patriots next week. Too bad about Dallas. I guess they just weren't up to it.

Hello Doc,

I just thought you had some sort of disgust for the Patriots that would prevent you from choosing them. Considering the average winning margin for the Patriots and the records for each team, a 21 point spread against the Dolphins would not be "crazy".

Korbel

Well I'm a Cowboys fan but I really didn't expect them to beat the Pats. As I stated before, the Pats and Colts are in a class of their own. But if you want to know where you stand as a team, you have to play the best because that exposes your weaknesses and you know what you need to do to improve. I expected the Cowboys secondary to get burned and they did. Roy Williams is not a cover guy and Jacques Reeves is at best, a 3rd corner. Plus on nickel, they had to bring in Nate Jones who is mostly a special teams guy. No wonder they kept getting burned on 3rd downs even if they knew Brady was going to throw it. This problem will partly be solved when Anthony Henry returns at corner (he has 4 picks already). Other than that, they really need to cut down on penalties. I think they will get better on defense barring key injuries now that Greg Ellis is back. Hey, they did sack Brady 3 times if that's any consolation. :)

Hello JB,

I agree. I was glad to see Dallas go ahead briefly. It should give the Patriots a little dose of "don't get too full of yourselves". No team learns from playing weak teams. If you don't face tough challenges to learn from you can deceive yourself and lose in the end. It was good to see them learn and turn it up for a nice victory.

Cheers,

Week 7: My turn

OK after feeling better about myself on week 6, let us try this again and see if we can keep the streak going:
  • Redskins over Arizona;
  • New Orleans over Atlanta cause if there is one team in the NFL that is more mess up than the Saints it is the Falcons;
  • Baltimore holds off the Bills in a photo finish;
  • Dallas comes back and beats the Vikings;
  • There is no way I could not pick NE to beat the Dolphins, there is no way I will not pick anyone to beat the Dolphins!:D . Still the Pats machine is for real and seems unstopable, certainly not by the Dolphins;
  • NY Giants over the 49ers, they are just a better team;
  • Tampa over Detroit cause am begining to belive! I started to belive on the Bucks when they change from their awfulll orange popscicle uniform of thier something more decent one, I think am going back;
  • Houston over Tennessee (cause without Vince they are in some trouble to score);
  • Oakland over Kansas City in a close one;
  • The bengals over the Jets, have I said I do not like the Jets:rolleyes: ;
  • Eagles over the Bears (they just have not QB in Chicago);
  • Seattle comes back to beat the Rams cause everyone seem to do;
  • Pittsburgh should beat the Broncos but then again:confused: , nhaaa, still going with the stealers;
  • Indy over Jacksonville cause this is the only team that can and will defeat the Pats;)
There you go

Pure Massacre!

Hello all,

It's halftime: Patriots 42 Miami 7.

BRADY-
16/19 291 yards 5 TDs

Isn't it illegal to treat Dolphins like this! Lord...lord...lord. Is it too insulting to put in the Patriots second team at the start of the second half or just simple mercy? I have no doubt the Patriots could score 70 points today if they wished to.

DAMN!
