I know I am your hero and all, and trust me, your right up there on my list as well, but bro bro bro.... Tony Romo plays this sunday, not Monday but I do expect a big game from him versus the Seahawks. :thumb:.................;)

My sure shot guaranteed to make you money pick of the week is Philadelphia - 0.5 over Baltimore, expect a big game by the best quarterback in the NFL

Tony Romo is a decent, but error-prone quarterback. He's certainly not a 'money' quarterback needed to lead the Cowboys to the promised land.

I've said it over & over & over:

"The Dallas Cowboys will never amount to anything as long as Tony Romo is their starting quarterback!!"

NFL pulls replacement ref from Saints game

The NFL pulled one of the replacement officials assigned to the New Orleans-Carolina game Sunday morning after it was made aware that he was a Saints fan.

Side judge Brian Stropolo is a fan of the Saints, according to his Facebook page. He was pulled from the assignment Sunday morning and replaced with an alternate, Tim Keese, who travels with the crew.

The NFL was unaware of Stropolo's open allegiance as a Saints fan until ESPN contacted the league Sunday morning.

Stropolo, who is from New Orleans area and lists himself on Facebook as an NFL side judge, posted pictures of himself in Saints gear tailgating at an Aug. 25 preseason game. Stropolo did not work the game against the Texans, but he was assigned to Sunday's game in Carolina. There were several photos of Stropolo in Saints gear on his Facebook page.

Stropolo worked the Week 1 opener between the Cowboys and Giants and posted on Sept. 5: "Thanks to everyone for all the support. The crew did a great job tonight. Next stop September 16th at Carolina vs the Saints."

Stropolo's status update drew 73 "likes" and comments such as "Hey, now be nice with those yellow flags for our Saints!!" and "That's awesome you get to be an official for a Saints game! I didn't think they would let you since your (sic) from Louisiana."

Stropolo's Facebook page has since been taken down. The NFL Referees Association was locked out in early June and talks on a new collective bargaining agreement have gone nowhere. The league has said replacement officials are subject to the same background checks and ethical standards of the locked out officials. A league executive conceded, at the very least, "an appearance of impropriety" warranted Sunday's action.

Buffalo -3 over Kansas City.
Oakland -3 over Miami.
Arizona +14 over New England(this team is horribly overrated).

My sure shot guaranteed to make you money pick of the week is Philadelphia - 0.5 over Baltimore, expect a big game by the best quarterback in the NFL my MVP pick Micheal Vick.

You're looking like a genius with that Arizona over New England pick. AZ is currently leading 20-9 in the 4th quarter!!!

My surprise pick of the week is Seattle straight-up over Dallas. I can't see Tony Romo winning two games in a row.

Eli Manning and the Giants receivers have completely blowtorched the Bucs secondary in the 4th quarter. This despite the Bucs corners holding and grabbing on every play and the replacement refs not calling it.

510 yards passing for Eli Manning so far, a career high. Giants single game record is 513 yards by Phil Simms.

I was watching the final minutes of the Arizona/New England game & the broadcast got cut-off just before New England's kicker was going to go for the game-winner. I then checked the final score & see that Arizona won. What happened? Did the kicker miss the field goal?

On another note, the officiating has been absolutely inept in most games i've watched all afternoon long. The replacement referees have been an embarrassment to the league today!! It's time that the NFL pay the regular referrees what they deserve & bring them back a.s.a.p.!!!!!!

Gostowski shanked the field goal, wasn't even close! Pats played like shit for 95% of the game and deserved the loss. Two questionable penalties called in the final minute against Gronk also led to a negated touchdown. Looks like Joe.t was on fire this week except for his Raiders giving him an assfucking again.

I'm on fire this week in my NFL pools. The only two games that i've lost so far are the Philly/Baltimore game & the Pats/Cardinals game.

Right now, my brilliant Seahawks over Dallas pick looks like the difference on whether i'll win a lot of money this weekend or not. I learned my lesson a couple of years ago & i no longer bet on Romo. He has to be the dumbest QB in the entire NFL!!

Of course, in order to win big $$ with my weekly picks, i need Peyton Manning's Broncos to beat the Falcons tomorrow night. It'll be a tall order since the Falcons have a very good team, which i predict might contend for the NFC championship. However, they're beatable & Manning could just be the one to find a way to do it, even they're playing in Atlanta.

Can someone explain to me how Arizona is 2-0? I look at their team, their roster and they stink. Kevin Kolb stinks. Beanie Wells, their top RB, has 58 yards in two games!!!!!!!!!!!! WTF??????

I was thinking the same thing, and the only thing i can conclude is that the teams they played stink more than they do!

This was a cheapshot on Eli Manning, basically a decorum issue that is observed in the NFL but not by Greg Schiano.

I missed the cheapshot, but did see Coughlin going after the TB coach at the end of the game. I honestly thought Coughlin would slug him! Man, was the old man ever pissed!

p.s. You want to see two coaches that really hate one another? Watch tonight's game between SF & Detroit.

Coughlin was pissed because on a last play kneel down, with the game decided, Schiano ordered a bullrush. There was a jailbreak up the middle because the OL was basically relaxing and not expecting the defense to play on a kneel down play. Eli was knocked on his ass and could have been hurt and so could the O-lineman who were caught off guard by the bullrush. It was totally uncalled for and unsportsmanlike. Coughlin should have given a Schiano a beatdown, but I will accept the verbal berating he gave Schiano on national TV. Schiano has not yet learned the NFL ain't the Big East.

New England Patriots look bad vs. Arizona Cardinals
By Dan Hanzus
Around the League Writer
Published: Sept. 16, 2012 at 05:42 p.m. Updated: Sept. 16, 2012 at 06:44 p.m.

How do you make sense of what happened Sunday afternoon in Foxborough?

The New England Patriots were stunned in a 20-18 loss to the Arizona Cardinals, snapping a streak of 10 consecutive victories in home openers.

The Patriots lost despite an all-time gift from Cardinals running back Ryan Williams, whose fumble late in the fourth quarter sent the fans at Gillette Stadium frantically running back to their seats. But Stephen Gostkowski shanked a 42-yard field-goal attempt in the final seconds to let Williams off the hook.

The wild final minutes shouldn't obscure another strong performance by the Cardinals' defense, which has looked like one of the NFL's best units since the close of last season.

Tom Brady rarely appeared comfortable, and the Cardinals' secondary was strong in coverage of a Patriots offense missing Aaron Hernandez, who was lost early in the first quarter with what the team believes to be a high ankle sprain.

Wes Welker, meanwhile, continues to have a mysterious timeshare in Bill Belichick's doghouse. Julian Edelman started over Welker, whose playing time might have been significantly less had Hernandez not went down. The Patriots worked in three-receiver sets after Hernandez left the game.

The Patriots weren't sharp Sunday, something that will have to change with a rematch against the Baltimore Ravens on tap.

I repeat my pre-season prediction, This team will not make the playoffs.

JoeT,

Although you have been hot with your predictions, I look at the other teams in the AFC East and I do not see any division winners besides the Patriots. It's not a good division and is certainly nothing like the NFC East. The Patriots will win the AFC East by default.

The Patriots are one missed field goal by Goatkowski away from being 2-0.

Thank you Beav for the compliment, but I beg to differ on your opinion of the Patroits, they flat out stink, it looks like the League has caught on to their boring style of play, the dink and dunk passing with the occasional long throw just does not cut it anymore, furthermore Brady's age looks like it has caught up with him as he looked terrible out there, also if he continuously gets hit like he did today he will not last, it won't be long before we see the back up starting for the Pats, this team is in big, big, serious trouble especially if a team like Arizona can beat them at home.

ON FIRE WITH MY PICKS!!!!!!!!!!!!
