so you say, but actions speak louder than words

Actually the real habs fan is your idol Doc Holliday. Two seasons ago after the leafs were mathematically eliminated he couldn't stop raving about how he had always liked the habs and how he wanted them to win the 2007 Cup.

Me? Repeat - again - I am not a habs fan. I wouldn't deny it if I were - it's not an embarrassment like being a leafs fan - but I'm not a habs fan. (Have I said it enough yet?)

Maybe so but you certainly seemed sincere in your praise of the habs during multiple posts that year. Also, let's not forget that the habs had an unexpectedly fine year in the 07-08 season. I remember taking a lot of heat on this board when I said that both the habs and the leafs would never win another Cup during our lifetimes. I stand by that statement...but people don't like hearing the truth.

(Last year, when the habs did a lot worse than expected considering their 07-08 performance, you were praising the Bruins, which made sense considering that they had a great year.)

If your obsession for me wouldn't be as strong, you would be able to realize from hundreds of posts i've made in other threads that i'm the resident king of sarcasm.

Now back to more serious hockey matters......

Vinny Prospal is out for a month......Rangers continue to struggle.....how long will Sather be able to hold onto his job?

Like a broken record, you keep repeating your nonense week after week: the Leafs are only ____ points behind Montreal, but Toronto has never and will never over take the Habs in the standings - book it! :D

but let me let you in on something.... the broken record thing has been looooooooooooooong worn out by you and most habs fans this season, see, the great Les Habitants were supposed to be the tops in the east (as their given right each year by spoiled habs fans) BUT, not so, and as the "broken record" is still SO TRUE as standing proof that your Great franchise is a mere, mmmmmmmmm 4 points ahead of the leafs with a game in hand,.and the best part is, its dec 29th and still 40 games to go!!!!!!!! ........... welcome back GSG! it is much warmer in here on these cold winter nights than under tha frigid "wagon" parked outside the Bell ;)

PS..... you say "book it" ??? how about "BET IT"????? oh thats right, your to "bawk bawk" Chicken to do so,............ :p

4 points ahead of the leafs with a game in hand,

Are you really that dense or is it just an act? The only reason Toronto appears to be close is because they have 6 more "loser points" than Montreal - which gives the illusion they are better than their 14 and 26 record. Do you follow now?

Wrong thread for insults Iggy. This thread is supposed to be for serious hockey discussion, not name calling ("fair weather habs fan", "obnoxios", "misinformed", "bawk bawk", "chicken").

Maybe Iggy thinks it's good when his team can win 1 out of every 3 games.

you "seriously" MUST be smarter than this ...... so at the end of the year if the Leafs have one point more than the habs and are in eigth place and the habs are in 9th place yet the leafs have more "loser points" (as you like to say) then the habs get in eh? WRONG! points are points my fair weather friend....... you really need to brush up on your hockey knowledge... but it is fun taking you to "School" (again, and again)

Yes, I'm watching it. Canada / US will be intense. I think the U.S. has become Canada's #1 rival, even though it is unlikely they will meet in the finals. The Canadian crowd seems to be behind whoever the US's opponent is - this goes back to the WJC in Vancouver a few years ago. IIRC, Johnson for the U.S. delivered a cheap shot elbow to a Canadian player. In the U.S. / Russian game, the crowd was cheering for Russia.

Canada will win the championship again this year, most likely, next yr may be a bit tougher as the USA Team will have almost the exact same team returning from this year and it is in, i believe Buffalo, NY so the home crowd will be behind them,,, might be the first time Canada loses it in 7 years, providing they win it this year
