I believe you meant "sarcastic". Oh well, anyone can make a typo.
Ironically however you bragged not too long ago about how you are "the king of sarcasm" so maybe you meant your post as a compliment. If so, I humbly thank you...but actually I was NOT being "sarastic" (sic) - I was sincerely complimenting you for realizing that Ken and Lou are the cream of the GM crop.
Oh and by the way, you really SHOULD try to correct your little problem about not being able to tell the boys from the girls. Coincidentally lg has the same problem. Hmm..that's food for thought.
And once again, the Queen of Sacrasm is at it again! Ya da girl, you! Well done, Ms. Cairo!

Opening up cap space is part of the story, but not the entire story. The team will need a lot more than $1 million in freed cap space in order to re-sign any of the two goaltenders, who will likely sign for $4 million+ somewhere, if not with the Habs. I doubt they'll have money to re-sign Plekanec, since they need to save up in order to re-sign Markov after next season. I've heard Tomas Plekanec's agent is certain he'll get offers in the $6 million+ range for his client. If this is true, the Habs should do everything in their power to trade him & at least try to get a 2nd or 3rd rounder in return. They cannot afford to once again draft and develop players & then seeing them leave as free agents without getting anything in return.
Leafs' Mayers requests trade. Mayers is more concerned with playing for a winning organization than getting more ice time than he has in Toronto.
“I think winning is the most important thing,” Brisson said. “When the team wins and he plays less, he’s happy, he’s okay with it.
Senators fire goalies coach
The Ottawa Senators have just fired goalies coach Eli Wilson. The Senators have been one of the worse teams in the league (as bad as the Leafs & Oilers) over the past month or so & a lot of the blame goes to the goalies, especially Pascal Leclair, who's been yanked in the past 2 games.
And, in fairness, Ottawa has indeed been doing badly but they have been crippled by injuries to their best players.
