for being a red wings fan (hahahahahaahaha, i left out the bwah for you as i know you hate it and ur stress level is already way to high thanks to me
) why dont you post something on your "favorite" team on a regular basis instead of posting about the leafs so much in a negative way, your not fooling anyone but maybe one guy who knows less ablut hockey than you.. i am beginning to think your as big a habs bandwagoneer as he but not wanting ppl to know, but it is obvious, and if you say its just to put down the leafs cause you hate them, well that doesnt work either as all habs fans hate the leafs......
DUH!
Don't you ever get tired of repeating the same old nonsense? I've said time and time again for years that I am a Wings fan and I am not a habs fan. If I DID root for the habs, I would not be at all ashamed to say it. There is no shame in being a fan of the habs or of any one of
28 other teams. There is ONLY shame about being a leafs fan. Haven't you noticed that you and your good friend Doc are the ONLY two leaf fans?
As for the Wings, there's not much to say other than that they have the best ownership by FAR in the NHL, the best GM, one of the best coaches, and several GREAT players including Datsyuk, Zetterberg and Lidstrom. They are, as I have posted several times, in a rebuilding mode and will not be serious Cup contenders for a few years (2? 3? maybe 4?), but they are rebuilding the RIGHT way, not like a certain team in Canada's largest city. Also, Detroit has a great and respected past - Howe, Lindsay, Abel, Sawchuk, Delvecchio, Yzerman, and countless others. And in case you didn't notice: 4 Cups in the last dozen years. Aw, but shit - last year they "only" made it to the final before losing to the Pens. Could Toronto (last APPEARANCE in a final in 67 - but hey, I guess you have to MAKE the playoffs before you can get to the final!) can only dream of this type of success. There - are you happy now that I wrote a little bit about the Wings?
