Well, we shouldnt call him names in this thread as it is the hockey thread that is supposed to be free of instigating and name calling so with that said, yea i was thinking earlier this week that pk reminds me ALOT of avery, only with ALOT more pure and raw talent. If he grows up plays the game the way it was meant to be played, he will be a franchise player and someone the habs can build around.

See Doc ? even Hummer guy in his post here (sorry about the name calling) is being more reasonable than you now !

Now if he start to devellop a better interest in our festive PK... I'd probably start reading more of his post.
Can't say I will agree but at least I won't find them useless to read anymore.

How long does a usual rebuild take? 1 year? 2 years? how about 3-5 at best. The Leafs with a win tonight are now just 6 points out of a playoff spot with 24 games to go. I would say that no matter what happens in those next 24 games, that Burke has done a phenominal job of not only getting us back close to a playoff spot and or playoffs, but also put ALOT of talent back into the system and trust me, the Man is not done yet! He will not quit until we not only 1, make the playoffs, but 2, win the Cup!.

As far as Wilson, yea, "CAN" a guy who has won 600 games in the NHL and has his team playing the best hockey this franchise has played in YEARS! yea, fire him now! he is horrible! BWHAHAHAHAHHAAH!

I absolutely love this guy after watching him play in the last 3 games & he's got Kessel back on track again! I love his size, skating, intensity & playmaking ability.

Considering Tyler Bozak's cap hit is $3.725 million per year, is it adviseable to pay big $$ to a big-name center? Where do you put Bozak if you get a first-line center? He's being paid way too much to be a 3rd or 4th line center.

He is RFA after this season. The way his cap hit is figured out is that his official salary this season is $875 000. When he signed two years ago, his contract called for a signing bonus of $2.850 million, meaning that if you add the totals, they come up to a cap hit of $3.725 million this season.

As for Jiggy, word is that it's a groin problem, but not the same one he has had so many problems with. I wouldn't be surprised if it's all b.s & we learn tomorrow that he just got traded. Rumors of a groin problem might have been initiated by the Leafs & Jiggy in order to stop speculation that he may have been sat down in order to save him due to an imminent trade.

Zac Parise i'd like. Vinny Lecavalier would be the biggest mistake the Leafs would make if they ever obtained him. He's one of the most expensive players in the league & he's a player on the downslide of his career. The game today is too quick for him & he's had way too many hand injuries over the past few years. As for Brad Richards, he's currently out with a concussion.

I'm wondering when the Nucks will add some Dmen... their Dmen are dropping like flies. I've never seen a team lose some many defenseman during the course of a season - and they were carrying 8 NHL calibre D at the start of the season.

It'll be interesting to see what Vancouver does with practically no cap room at their disposal.
