So you mean no team can score by hitting the opponents player into their own net. Lucky maybe, but hitting an unprotected puck into the net counts whether it's pretty or not; and since when is it illegal to fight for position to score.

Yeah ! yeah ! I know ! I guess I'm missing the time when Bruins would whack everybody on the boards at the blue line before scoring goals short handed one on one against the Goalie.

Well we're going into the 3rd between Rangers and Ottawa and it seems New-York is playing a bit more like they did during the season.
Hope they keep the pressure on and move to the next round.

But Rangers are making more and more mistakes @%$&!

One of the best snipers in the game. No one is ever going to deny this.

There's disappointment, but no humiliation. That belongs to a #1 going out in 5 games to a #8

#2 Stanley Cup champs getting eliminated by a weak #7 team(with a rookie goolie) is just as embarrassing, if not more.

My favorite team is Montreal Canadiens. When I was a younger, my favorite were the Penguins. In the playoffs, I equally cheer for all Canadian teams. My favorite player of all time is Jaromir Jagr, do you know who he is? Two-time Stanley Cup champ, one of the greatest to ever play the game, Top 25 of all time. Mario Lemieux once mentioned that he had never seen a greater hockey talent than Jaromir Jagr, nuff said? It's not comforting, but that puts the Bruins on the same level with 7 of the last 10 defending champions who lost in the first round the next year, according to WEEI.

Well game 2 of Caps and Rangers wasn't that exciting.
Caps goes on defense as soon as they have the lead and if it wasn't for their goalie, this team would be boring like hell to watch.

Still, if this can make it a 7 game series, it will be more fun than out west where it seems they are in a hurry to wrap the playoffs once again.
From the beginning these playoffs have been an underdog one so it seems Kings could whipe out Blues despite the odds.

If both Kings and Coyotes make it to the next round...we'll have Iggy telling us to learn more about hockey. :smile:

Kings are 6-0 in Blues Territory and... for Blues to win this one, it will take a 7th game for sure and a lot of luck.

The Predators have suspended forwards Alex Radulov & Andrei Kostitsyn for breaking curfew a.k.a. being out all night drinking & partying prior to a playoff game. They won't be playing tonight & it's not known when they'll be playing next.

Many had said that bringing in Radulov that late into the season & risking to damage the team's great chemistry might be a big mistake, and it appears that this was likely the case. Many were also saying the same thing about reuniting the Kostitsyn brothers, who were a disaster playing together in Montreal. The Preds have only themselves to blame with these failed experiments & all i can say is.....GO COYOTES!!!!!!!!!

Agree on all counts but I feel bad for Barry Trotz, who deserves a lot better.

Very good game between Flyers and Devils !
Bryzgalov is doing fine while New Jersey is surprising in whacking at him like real 'Devils' !

A lot more speed and SOG than yesterday's game between Caps and Rangers.

Sure hope this one goes on a 7th game !

Clarkson finally scored for Devils and what a funny one since he was basically pushed on the top of the net after the puck got in

Flyers were finally moving after being owned in the 2nd period but Devils got 2 in since and have taken the lead !
And Devils just scored another wrap around one !!!

Seems like Flyers' fan STFU all over wells fargo center !

Specially with the last goal from Devils in an empty net.

Lots of empty seats ! and lots of bandwagon fans even booing the game ! ...classless !

Well Caps and Rangers are going on triple OT.

It's now the longest playoffs game so far !

Who ever wins this one will simply be lucky after all this work from both teams !

It is so funny to see the guys playing like in slow motion for being so tired !
It's been a long time I didn't see a game that reminds me when we used to play all day long on the ice rink until we couldn't move :smile:

Well tonights game is at a much quicker pace than yesterday between Rangers and Caps.

Whoever wins this series between Flyers and Devil should win the eastern conf. and make it to the finals.
Cuze they're both fun to watch.

Giroux is hurt though so others will have to step up for Flyers.

Specially that Brodeur is giving a lot of rebound tonight, not to mention all the errors Devils are making in defence.

Well refere's job tonight starting to suck !

Yesterday's game was super and with the speed Devils have I think I'd rather see them all the way to the finals.
Like them better than Rangers, Flyers and Caps although Lundquist is amazing in the net for Rangers.

While Blues lost last night and it sucks, Phoenix just won tonight against Nashville so hoping they win the series it could be a battle between Quick and Smith for the western.

Anyway, these playoffs are good for all the upsets and surprises so far.
No one came out of a 3-0 defeat though yet but the triple OT between Rangers and Caps was fun to watch.

One thing is sure these playoffs prove that for all the bragging and posting all year long there's a lot of bandwagon stuff that went on and taken out of Google all along :eyebrows:

Many bandwagon fans missing a lot from these playoffs.

Not only Devils vs. Flyers serie is awesome but now Rangers just tied at 19 sec. of the end of the third period.
Just incredible !

Well Flyers lost the series.

It's sad to see Giroux coming on the ice to shake hands since he was out for suspension.
He worked so hard in these series.

As for Devils, they really played in a very fast pace.
They were so good in forechecking that they proved that offensive is as much important than defense.

Hope they get to the finals.
I like Rangers with Lundquist and Holtby for Caps but as a whole I prefer Devils as a team for playing that fast !

Meanwhile Preds were eliminated so it's should be an exciting duel between Quick and Smith.
