I wouldn’t call that a screening method at all. When you see an SP do you plan a long term relationship, do you talk politics? It's a loss of income. When I had a store I didn't care what someone thought about politics or any other topic as long as they were polite during our transaction. From what I see the comments are back peddling.
I think you're missing the point. There are different markets and I'm thinking she doesn't aim to be something like an agency. It's a totally different market with completely different clients. Fine dining vs McDonalds if you will.

:p:p:p Well, “fine dine” away! Lmaooooo. The rest of us simple minded folk will just keep on keeping on. I guess. Poor us.;)

The hilarious things that cracks me up - the last time I engaged in this conversation topic on MERB (at least for me) was in the summer of last year. About the lack of talent, where we touched on rates tangentially. And I remember someone exclaiming, saying something along the lines of: “if this thread isn’t for you, you don’t have to read it!”

But then, we get these “this again??” posts. Again. :D

So… if you don’t like the topic, you don’t have to read it or engage. Lolllll.

Some of you will have to change your habits soon or later. Maybe that or your behaviour.

Some people in those very same threads are able to get services for free, discounts, arrangements and whatnot. It has to do with their habits and behaviour.
I don't really need to change anything. You'll notice that I'm not one of the ones complaining specifically about pricing. Giselle got that right. I learned all about managing my expectations and my budget long ago. That's not really the point though. I understand that the dollars and cents is what is the priority to you and to your business, which is perfectly natural, but what I'm saying is that you're focusing entirely on that and you're missing the tone and subtext of what the guys are saying here. They're talking about more than just rates, and not everything is being said directly.

On the contrary I think it weird if you don’t.
I don’t particularly have a problem with rates simply because as I have always said you make your own luck in life.
That being said I understand and remember the days when I worked 60-80 hour weeks and had 2 jobs to help support the family and know what price increases can do to people.
Nobody likes them but everybody needs to deal with them.
Sometimes you just crave a nice juicy burger lol.

Idk if you ever have a point to what you say, but I always miss it.

Naw that takes a hell of a lot of skill agility and mental toughness unless you are doing it just as a hobby or to keep fit.
Competitive table tennis like most sports you have to not just be born for it with natural skills but put in the enormous amount of work if you want any kind of success.
Table tennis was just a hobby for me but I know exactly what it takes to be good at sports.
BS is easy and comes naturally.

Nobody can help being a boomer lol you don’t get to choose when you were born.
Sorry Fradi, it was and is meant to be an insult to boomers...... Many of the younger generations consider boomers to be responsible for leaving them with little. He is probably expressing that sentiment.

I know what he meant.
Boomers parents actually taught them to be respectful to the older generation lol.
These guys deserve the price increases lol.

These many people should probably get off their ass and work instead of whining constantly.
