...and they were opposed aussi to free trade....BUT the rest is history....
Sure free trade but if we as customers buy something from out of the country we got to pay duties. I would like to see that removed. I find many available products I want in the US that are not available here in Canada but the duties make too expensive.

There is no shortage of workers. Those are all lies spread by Trudeau...
No shortage of workers??? Just visit any Industrial Park and almost every building have big signs "Hiring, Nous engageons". C'est donc une vaste conspiration du mensonge? Come on! Je suis retraité et toutes les semaines des compagnies me contactent pour m'offrir un emploie bien payé.
This is a very corrupt bad dirty man we have as prime minister.

Free Trade Agreement: There are no duties on goods made in USA, Canada or Mexico. If you buy Adidas sneaker from USA, you will pay duties because they are imported by USA and not made in USA. If it is too expensive for you, buy what you can afford and don't blame measures protecting Canadian workers.

Duty free is limited but some think they get a bargain without knowing the price at home. In Amsterdam duty free the Petron silver was more expensive than at the SAQ here.
As for protecting Canadian workers, there is a reason we have a very low productivity rate, lazy overpaid union workers and GenZ workers. We can not compete on a global scale.

The Liberals produced a video comparing Poilievre to Trump telling Wacko repeatedly.
If voters base their choice for next Canada's Prime Minister on childish videos, they will get what they deserve !

Low productivity rate is due to too many government regulations and high taxes. After labor costs, the next costly expense to any business is taxes. Taxes does no one any good but the government. Justin Castro is stealing money from hard working Canadians to give it to refugees.

Here is another issue. The Capital Gains tax increase. They say they need more doctors, but they get taxed so much. They rather go the US where they are paid much more and not over regulated by the government.

An other assumption without any bases. Pure demagogy and populism.
So childish to call names or changing it, which is pure disinformation and lie.
The PM is Justin Trudeau it's about time you acknowledge it.
Nobody is stealing the money. Liberal Party was elected and it governs. If the Conservative Party is elected they will rule it their way. It is democracy.

Yes, there is a shortage of workers depending on the industry and experience, but it doesn't justify letting millions of people come in,. And there is little selection, many (most) of the newcomers don't speak proper English or French and don't have the qualifications that are required by the Canadian job market. They call you for jobs because you have the skills, experience, references etc...so you see, you are not that easily replaceable!

Not assumptions, maybe in your own world. The correct word would be extortion.

Extortion as defined by the dictionary: Extortion is the crime of obtaining something from someone, especially money, by using force or threats.

I am going to spare you the history lesson behind income taxes, I am sure you are aware of why it was first put in place which was to fund World War 1. What happens to you if you refuse to pay your taxes? The government threatens to do something bad to you like throwing you in jail. It is the same way a bank robber operates, they threaten you unless you give them all the money. You do not have a choice in the matter, and for what? So politicians can live lavish lifestyles at taxpayers expense? Why take money from hard working Canadians and then to give it away to foreigners? Do you know how much housing refugees cost taxpayers? It is costing us hundreds of millions of dollars. And to add to that all the money wasted to send to Ukraine. Again we do not have a choice in the matter, it is done by force.

The Liberal party was elected with a narrow margin by underhanded means. The thing is Justin Castro would be long gone if it were not for Singh who is always propping up the Liberals giving them a false majority. And I do not care if he is elected. He is passing policies that Canadians do not agree with.

For example the carbon tax. 69% of Canadians disagree with this, you said somewhere that you are for the Bloc Quebecois, well elected officials (Liberals, NDP, and Bloc Quebecois) joined forces to up the carbon tax. Even if the people do not agree with it. Elected or not, the government is supposed to serve the people that elected them, currently it is the opposite. The carbon tax is going to break Justin Castro just as the GST broke Brian Mulroney.

They are brought here to give businesses cheap labor, very certain they are lobbying the Liberal government for this.

The only reason Justin Castro is now lowering the amount of temporary foreign workers because he is desperate, he is going to loose the election badly. But that is all virtue signalling, reducing it a little bit is not enough, it has to be cut to zero and same for asylum seekers. There should not be any coming here and getting so many free social benefits. Too little too late. And he is also trying to build houses using taxpayers money.

Do some research of the money being spent on illegals, refugees and immigrants, the money comes from taxpayers. So basically Trudeau takes it from us and gives it away, now normally I would not complain but when his policies cause a massive housing and Healthcare crisis I tend to speak out. Do not give a fuck if he is PM, he is a buffoon that needs to be kicked out of office ASAP to save our economy.

After the 6 murders yesterday in Ottawa with a knife and the murder of 11 and injuries of 18 in 2022 also with a knife, what is Trudeau waiting to ban these weapons like he did with firearms ?
In 2021, knives were the no 1 weapons used in violent crimes with firearms in 4th rank !

In Montreal, in the last ten days, 7 deaths by knife injuries confirming that knives are used in more violent and death crimes than legally owned firearms.
What does Trudeau do about that ?
Nothing because there couldn't be easy measures to to control the sale and possession of knifes usef by hunters and in houses.
When I was a young adult going in bar and disco, carrying hunting knives was unknown and fighting with them extremely rare.
What happens now must be modernism evolution or something else.
It's mostly a Montreal thing tough.
Guess why !

There are a lot of stabbings happening in Toronto these days also, it is much worse there then in Montreal. This is what happens when you got rapid population increase. More people = More problems = More crimes. In a decade we will have the same crime levels as the US.
