President Donald Trump paid only $750 in federal income taxes for the years 2016 and 2017, as he successfully ran his 2016 campaign for president and began his first term as president of the United States, according to tax records obtained by The New York Times, revealed Sunday in a report that claims Trump spent years avoiding paying any federal income taxes.

No, it doesn't work, Trump is a billionaire he has to pay his taxes.

While millions of taxpayers tighten their belts to pay their taxes.

Would you pay taxes if you could have an accountant fix it for you that you could legally not have to.
Does anybody dislike screwing the government who has imposed every possible tax on you from dog licences to building permits to Tempo permits, I could name at least twenty ” hidden taxes “ that I am paying right now.
Sometimes I think that is all politicians do at every level is sit in a room and think what else can I screw good old every day joe with without him noticing and kicking up shit about.

A friend of mine tells me I paid $ 85,000 in taxes last year, but I'm glad that means I made a really good salary.

It's no use, Trump tries to cram his fellow citizens, he doesn't care about everyone, about those who have difficulty paying for their food.

I know there is no such thing as honest politicians, but when you're a "dishonest man" before you even become a politician, that's "it's the end of shit"

The legal part remains to be seen.

I used to think like that also, however just look around you. How many Montreal and other city mayors had to resign or were indicted for corruption in the last ten years. Did you enjoy your taxes going towards lighting up the bridge or granite tree stumps on Mount Royal or the races in downtown Montreal that benefited no one.
Do you enjoy JT giving away billions of our taxes to foreign countries while our seniors live in government shit holes and die by the thousands.
Every one of these scumbag politicians screws you at all levels, no I want the least amount of what I earn going in taxes to these scumbags.

Fradi, corrumption has always existed, before we suspected it, today is known.

But here we are talking about Trump, he frauded for at least 10 years.
Just as an example, last year:
Trump paid $ 750 in taxes
Biden paid $ 3,500,000 in taxes

Trump is fundamentally dishonest, we will say what we want I would not change my mind.
Trump always, always pulls the cover on his side. Trump is a fraudster.

I knew his answer to that accusation: Fake News. With him everything is Fake News.

Trump is a politician of course he is a fraudster and corrupt.
Biden is no different and neither was Hilary.
It is always a case of choosing between the lesser of two evils.

If he’s manipulated the tax system for this long to not pay, he’s surely gonna manipulate the electoral system. Already planting seeds which are starting to sprout about non legitimate election. Has people looking at and working on every angle to challenge, lol. Will surely go to courts and maybe Supreme Court. Hopefully judges vote against him. I’d take Obamacare and R Vs Wade overturned with Trump booted, lol.

The Greatwaloo, for you all is bullshit anyway.

You are like your President, so you with no, no credibility for me.

The only credibility you have is that: suppose that Trump kills Americans, that he is filmed by several people, you are going to say that it's not his fault, that he has several mental illnesses, then I will believe you.

OK, then I would return the compliment by saying for you all is bullshit as well.

We were talking about tax returns that no ones ever seen except for the NY Times. But now your talking about Trump killing Americans, being filmed, and mental illness. I'm not sure I follow you Mr. Biden!

You have a very vivid imagination to say the least, how did you get from taxes to killing Americans.
I think you need another session with your ATF sooner the better to take your mind off of Trump.
This is how fake news starts lol.

For people whose only income is a salaried job it may come as a surprise that running a business even at loss leaves eventually more money in your pocket. A lot, if not all expenses can be written off as business expenses or investment. By running several businesses and showing periodically loss for some you may eliminate taxes completely. It may sound unethical but is completely legit. Warren Buffet claims that he pays less taxes than his secretary

Waterloo,

Of course it is! Lol....
NYT
WSJ
CNN
MSNBC

It’s all bull shit!!

It makes more sense to come out and say “like you bitches didn’t know all this before, it changes nothing.”

N it’s true, he’s had his tax returns rolled up and hidden well inside the deepest crevices of his anus for years with refusal to release them, while everyone else has.

I wonder if the dude in the other thread who compares loss of $$$ to getting raped is DJT incognito??

This actually convinces me more how there will be 4 more years. His lawyers are just gonna go apeshit on the election and electoral rules with challenges and loopholes.

A federal appeals court declined to block a subpoena from a New York grand jury for several years' worth of President Trump's tax records, a further legal setback in his efforts to keep his returns out of the hands of state prosecutors. NBC News' Pete Williams reports. Aired on 10/07/2020.

It's hard to get blocked for $ 750 tax records.

At a rally against sexual assault at the University of Miami in Florida, Biden referred to a recording of Mr. Trump in 2005 in which he bragged about grabbing women by the genitals.

He has no respect for women.

Trump wasn't in politics in 2005 so who cares. Biden, on the other hand, is working on inappropriately touching women. No worries.

Because it was in 2005 that doesn't count, he was not in politics, it allows to do a lot of bad things.

I didn't know the shoulders were genitals.
