This time Congress (Dems and Republicans) came up with a bill that was negotiated with the W/H rep . Out of the blue the orange one decided to hold it up. He is the only one holding it up and most likely its to seek revenge for losing the election.

^^^^^ From what I am reading all Trump wants is the personal payments changed fro $600 to $2,000 and a bunch of pork removed to make that happen. Does not sound like a bad request. Look at Canada where Trudeau will not even say where our $400 billion went, the left is crooked as fuck.

We need to hurry up and pass the Covid Relief bill so Americans can get a lousy $600? Give me a break. It sucks that the bill has so much money going to places other than the people that need it most. Congress should have put together a relief bill that had a remote chance of not getting vetoed. It's the idiots we elect to congress that are to blame for such a useless bill. Leave all the stuff in it that American people need and we can continue to fund other countries at a later date.

When did I ever say that I am a fan of Trump.
I just acknowledge things that he has done that benefit everybody, like his handling of warp speed.
The way he handled the economy and stood up to China is another.
Yeah he fucked up on the virus as did perhaps another hundred leaders around the world.
Even if he would have done all the right things I doubt the outcome would have been much better.
He didn’t start and spread this to the world China did.
People do have a mind of their own and unfortunately they will not follow any kind of advice just take a look at all the airports in the US during the holidays.
I also don’t blindly give credit to another politician simply because I hate the one currently in power.

Unfortunately I don’t think his golf game has a lot to do with anything other than his golf game, just like I didn’t think anything of Obama or other presidents playing golf, as a matter of fact even their hobbying activities I don’t find to have anything to do with being a President.

Where was Trump during the weeks when the relief bill was being negotiated? Playing golf.
He grandstanded at the last moment, pretending to care about the welfare of the unwashed, but it has just been reported that he caved and signed the bill. Perhaps he got a call from some of the 1% who are going to get the majority of the money.
Although Trump caved in to the pressure, the objections to the bill were legitimate and it should have been vetoed with instructions to cut out all the appropriations to foreign interests and the arts and increase the appropriations to Americans who need the money. This bill is just further evidence of the pandering by the US Congress to special interest groups who lick their assholes with alarmingly effective results. Who lobbies for the regular Joe who is out of work and needs money or the hard working small business owners who are getting crushed? Fuck them and their bill.
