McConnell wouldn't name Trump personally, but he said that the party was looking to the future, not the past, a clear jab about Trump not being in power anymore.

I think some in the GOP are starting to see the massive price that having Trump running the show comes with. McConnell should be one of those that knows since he lost his Senate majority because of Trump's claims of voter fraud. Many in the GOP can't see that though.
