Republican Senator JD Vance was on CNN to defend Trump by blasting Judge Merchan for having given 15 $ to a Democrat candidate campaign I don't remind how many years ago.
He also repeated all Trump arguments against the Trial.
Not surprising since he is a candidat to VP if Trump is elected President.
Agree with you.
15 is way too much lol !

This trial has been absolutely counterproductive for all trying to keep Trump out of office. Considering the nature of his “crime”, which most people do not understand, it reinforces his projected image of an underdog fighting the corrupt system.

You're right, most Trump supporters can't understand the nature of his crime.
Certainly not those who live in FOXNEWS country.
Do you agree that if you watch FOX you are sure that you don't live in the same country as those who watch CNN or MSNBC ?

Today Trump told he could get a 197 years prison sentence.
I find that a little exaggerated.
100 would be enough !

John Bolton who was National Security Advisor of the USA in Donald Trump presidency tells that Trump should never returned to the White House.
And he is a hard Republican not a soft one.

The polls are actually showing that the majority of independents & undecided voters would not vote for Trump if he was a convicted felon. And 10% more Republican voters are now saying they wouldn’t vote for him for that reason alone.

Today i read that Alvin Bragg would likely request a minimum 1-year prison sentence for Trump. Many will be shocked he’ll even get prison but considering the number of counts he was found guilty i feel he’d be getting off easy especially considering Michael Cohen got a four year sentence for covering up for him in that same crime. There has to be some form of punishment to act as a deterrent, right?

Trump will drag this through courts for years, as in the past he will serve no jail time. Still find it funny he is still leading in the polls, says a lot about Biden.

REUTERS/IPSOS poll/Frifay/after the conviction showed BIDEN with a 2% lead.....not that significative yet.....BUT time will play for him....

I'm not sure, with the help that FUCKED-UP NEWS give to Trump.
90 minutes interview on Fox and Friends will probably influence Trump's Sect members even more.

Personally I think he should be sentenced to 4 years in prison on each count (with the sentences running concurrently). He interfered in the 2016 election and may have won the presidency because of his interference. He has attacked the judge and his family, the prosecutor, the witnesses, the jury, and the entire judicial system while acting like he is above the law. He has no remorse for his crimes. Four years in jail (not home confinement) is what he deserves in my opinion.
