The election was lost immediately after Kamala Harris went on the View, was directly asked what she would do differently than Joe Biden and said "nothing that I can think of". Wrong answer following the tenure of the most unpopular President in United States history, who resigned after being compelled to acknowledge his dementia affecting his job performance.

Why the Democrats chose to nominate Harris is something I still can't understand because it was doomed from the start. The interview on the View cemented that she would take it on the chin, which she did.

She will never be heard from again on the national political scene.

I warned all of the posters in the other thread that the Democrats made a huge mistake by nominating her. Nobody listened to me. It's very annoying that I have to say I told you so to them, but I told you so. This is what happens when puppeteers are allowed to engineer a candidacy. The referendum on the failed Biden Presidency is now complete.

It's alright now. I mean The Presidency, the Senate, the House and the Supreme Court are all right Americans pushed back.

Very true. I am not sure if a candidate was chosen by normal means (primary process), totally independent of Biden (such as Newsome, Whitmer, Shapiro), Trump would have won. The Democrats did everything possible to botch this election, cementing the defeat with an indifferent arrogance.

Trump has just been declared winner of Michigan, Whitmer's state, piling on to his huge victory.

I watched CNN until 5 am and could not believe these smug woke biased reporters.
They were for 3 months hyping the polls and degrading Trump and calling him every name in the book.
With all their intelligence and smugness they got everything wrong and didn’t read what the American people thought was important.
Even now they are still hung up and dumping on Trump.
Now their spin is that Harris did everything humanly possible and she could not possibly rectify Biden’s record and she was an amazing choice and should have won.

They still won’t own up to the fact that she was a horrible choice a cackling fool who totally fucked up with her boring word salads and lack of appeal to the American voter.
The people preferred a crooked egotistical deplorable human being to her so yeah she was a great choice.
Great job the Democratic Party, the biased left controlled media, and Kamala an unpopular candidate who was a total fuck up and the Dems will be recovering for many years to come.

A source in the know told me that the statement by Dr. Jill was one of displeasure at the blue party or its puppeteers for casting her husband aside to appoint, without the approval of the American public, the Harris character as the candidate to be nominated. While the Biden family may be in denial as to the mental health of Joe, said enmity at the opaque process through which Harris was ushered to nomination is now exposed to all.

There was some character named "Jazzman" who posted on the since deleted thread that everyone was dreaming about the opaque process and the American voters would see no such thing. He, like the fellow elitists he was beholden to, have now been shown the penalty one must pay for these shenanigans. It did not sit well with me, or many people, that this kind of thing was attempted. While I understand that Biden's Alzheimer's Disease put the Democratic Party in an awkward situation, very late in the game, the nomination process could have been handled better.

Interestingly, Trump at 78 is the same age as Biden when he was elected. There is a chance we could be in the same situation down the road, although I anticipate Trump will serve out his second term and then it will be Vance against whomever Democrats can muster. Trump cannot seek a third term and has also said he wouldn't challenge the 22nd amendment.

Very true. A great inspiration, especially to all the beautiful ladies on this site whom we so much cherish and love. Your horizons are really unlimited and don't let Kamala's defeat get you depressed. She lost not because she is your (ex-)colleague but for the simple reason that she is dumb as a bag of hammers. Yeah she is a great inspiration on how to fuck up a party for years to come.
She does deserve to move on and do something else clearly she was unpopular and was not capable of winning.
She completely helped destroy the Democratic Party , there hasn’t been a blow out like this for many years.
