Former President Donald Trump unveiled Thursday a “limited edition collection” of NFT trading cards featuring cartoon-like images of himself depicted as a superhero, Hollywood actor and more.

Donald Trump's collection of non-fungible tokens, or NFTs — all 45,000 of them — have been completely sold out, raking in a whopping $4.45 million.

What Happened: Over 45,000 NFTs were sold out in about 12 hours, resulting in $4.45 million raised at $99 a piece, with nearly 14,000 people purchasing one or more of the online tokens, according to OpenSea data.

14,000 conspirators and uneducated.

Even Steve Bannon and other key advisers to former President Donald Trump have had enough of his latest stunts — demanding everyone behind his wacky NFT collection be “fired today.”

“I can’t do this anymore,” an exasperated-sounding Bannon said Thursday on his show, “The War Room,” when discussing the widely derided collection the 45th president launched the previous day.

What i’m hearing today is that this is likely another one of Trump’s money laundering schemes. I’m curious if we’ll ever find out who the bulk of the ‘buyers’ are. Saudis? Russians? Anyways earlier today on Trump’s social media site people were bitching that they spent $99 on one of these digital cards & that today they were no longer showing in their virtual wallet or email account. Lol

Like Trump Steaks & Trump University this looks like another obvious scam by the master grifter & once again way too many suckers fell for it! Hillarious! Lol

Sadly, I heard lawyers tell that he could be declared non-guilty of those crimes.
If that happens, I will lose faith in USA justice system.
He, like anyone criminally charged, would need to be found guilty beyond a reasonable doubt by all members of the jury. That's a high bar to clear, but it's the hallmark of the US criminal justice system. Given the overwhelming facts and evidence that point to his criminal culpability, I think it unlikely any serious jury would find him not guilty of all alleged crimes. However, all it takes is one juror to hang or deadlock the jury and result in a mistrial.

The danger is that braindead MAGA types and other rightwing headcases might continue in their brainwashed blindness and fail to see the obvious truth that the ignorant, incompetent, thieving grifter is also one of the biggest traitors in American history. If these jerkoffs have any influence, a huge injustice might occur and the guilty SOB might escape the punishment he so richly deserves - as has happened so many times in his disgusting waste of a life.

If you know anything about the US justice system and its checkered history, there's already plenty not to have faith in.

For example, there have been people who confessed in a magazine article to gruesomely killing a young black man in Mississippi (Emmett Till) that never even got charged. On the flipside, you have people like OJ Simpson who beat a double murder case despite being guilty as hell. But the chain of evidence botched that case for the prosecution.

So long and short, the US justice has gotten many cases right and many wrong. Trump's case, regardless of the outcome, won't be the straw that breaks the camel's back.

The real kicker in all of this--you better sit down to read this!!--is that during the entire 2016 campaign when Trump said his taxes were under audit, that was a 100% lie. He didn't get audited until he was president.

Now I know Trump being a lying ass liar isn't breaking news to most people here, but just imagine how a guy that lies this much is the hero of tens of millions of people in this country. Absolutely dispiriting thing to know.

The House Jan. 6 committee’s final report asserts that Donald Trump criminally engaged in a “multi-part conspiracy” to overturn the lawful results of the 2020 presidential election and failed to act to stop his supporters from attacking the Capitol, concluding an extraordinary 18-month investigation into the former president and the violent insurrection two years ago.

The 814-page report released Thursday comes after the panel interviewed more than 1,000 witnesses, held 10 hearings and obtained millions of pages of documents. The witnesses — ranging from many of Trump’s closest aides to law enforcement to some of the rioters themselves — detailed Trump’s actions in the weeks ahead of the insurrection and how his wide-ranging pressure campaign to overturn his defeat directly influenced those who brutally pushed past the police and smashed through the windows and doors of the Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021.

“The central cause of January 6th was one man, former President Donald Trump, who many others followed,” reads the report. “None of the events of January 6th would have happened without him.”

The insurrection gravely threatened democracy and “put the lives of American lawmakers at risk,” the nine-member panel concluded.

In a foreword to the report, outgoing Speaker Nancy Pelosi says the findings should be a “clarion call to all Americans: to vigilantly guard our Democracy and to give our vote only to those dutiful in their defense of our Constitution.”

It's great that the report was done but anyone with a brain knew the truth on January 6, 2021 - namely that a treasonous president attempted a coup against his own country. Luckily it failed, like everything else this idiot does. Incredibly though, there are people who STILL defend the criminal. Why? Because they are even stupider than Trump.
