Bow Tie donuts. I think Country Style used to make them. They were a bottom and top half of a bow tie shaped donut with whipped cream in the middle, chocolate on top and a cherry on top of it all. I also miss being able to eat that type of thing without feeling guilty.
I still see these in my travels, or maybe they are just the HOJO's hotels.

Buying 8 track tapes at the record store, going to the corner candy store and they guy picks out your candy to put in a brown paper bag with his dirty hands. Walking down town and being propositioned by ladies of the night quite safely Now adays your liable to be propositioned by a drugged up seller who will knife you if you refuse to deal.
Police that used to tale law and order seriously not the crap we have today with police setup "sting operations" for motorists crossing a white line.
The ablitity to walk around your own neighbourhood parks with your kids in the evenings safely. and most of all the ability to keep more than 50% of my wages before it arrived in my pay packet.
Low tax on beer and cigarettes ( although I am not a smoker).
