Earlier today I read this audacious statement by an indy on Twitter: "I don't take outfit requests anymore." https://twitter.com/gemma_song/status/1143912508278890496
I'm assuming that she will arrive looking like she is going on a date but this attitude bothers me. She charges 800$/hour or something like that and $2000 for 3 hours and she's not willing to dress in a certain way to suit the client's taste? And then a bunch of Indies chime in Right on sister. I don't take outfit requests either. What kind of entitled attitude is this?
Typically, you go through a girls web site. Most girls spend a fortune on glamour shots in lingerie and heels and then you can't ask her to show up looking like one of the glamour shots or to change into something that she wore in a photo shoot? Than why the hell do the photo shoot? I just had a big disappointment in Toronto where I selected a girl based on her heavily shopped glamour photos with her in lingerie. The girl arrived looking nothing like her photos and was dressed down and then came out of the shower wrapped in a towel and in bare feet. I've had some arrive looking like they were ready to do yard work. I hate glamour photos. What's the point of all those nice heavily shopped photos if the reality is just a let down? Why wear all that sexy lingerie if you will not wear any of it for our meeting?
I remember in Vegas I had a date with Maria Styles for 500$/hour. We had exchanged e-mails and spoke on the phone several times. The day of the meeting I asked if she would do the smoky eye shadow and wear one of her classic little black dresses and gave her the option of dressing like she did in several photos. She said that would be an additional 100$. I told her to just show up as she had planned. Guess what. She didn't show. She never even bothered to call and cancel So I called Capt Renault and Patron's favorite Vegas agency 100 Proof. I told the booker the story and he said Well, she's got to wear something. He sent over a nice girl and tweeted 100 Proof: We take outfit requests.
