I could add another 20 when she is in the shower, but the girls almost never count it in my presence so I don't even know if she would notice.
She WOULD NOTICE, obviously. Its not because she does not count in your presence that she does not count at all
She most likely count right in the car or the first discreet place she has. Im not saying this in a rude way, they are workers and they expect there "donations", i would do the same.
I do similar to you. I put the cash on the night table, in sight, and when i want to add a tip, i add it while she is in the bathroom. They always clean themselves a bit even if they don't shower (last call of the day for instance, or going back at there incall and prefering showering there)
But don't be too "zealous" over the money. I mean sometimes i don't know if she will do an extra or not, so i simply ask and im told its 40$ extra or whatever, i have to add it there at some point and sometimes i just pull out the wallet and add it in front of her. I mean yes its about "GFE" and as any guy i like to make some connection with the SP, i like it to be more than just "sex" , but its still a service you pay for, there nothing "wrong" in adding money for them.
Not sure if you are referring to indy or agency.
For agency, you don't really go with the "show-cash-upfront" approach in Montreal. Money stays in wallet until end of session.
I used to do that long time ago, but i had a couple SP asking for the money when not seeing it, some just asking to "show it"(that was in my early days). Obviously the more you get known the more they trust you, i am pretty sure if i book at euphoria or xo, and its James or Sam and they know its me, i wouldn't had any problem even if i don't put the money on the night table, but i prefer to not take any chances and they just feel more at ease when they see it. Its like a good sign of "it will go smooth". And i know i don't have to fear of getting "screwed" in the wrong way when its merb reputable agencies or indies.
As for tipping or not tipping, there so much factors that can influence it. How much was the base price, did she charged for extras, and obviously how great was the service? Sometimes i do, sometimes i don't. I don't see it as a "must do" thing like giving the waitress a 1$ for your beer in a bar. Its a genuine tip that come from apreciation and that make it much better in my point of view.
Tipping has become such a weird thing in life (in general i mean). You are expected, if not FORCED to tip your waitress 1$ for a beer even if you sit at the counter, or to give 15% of an invoice if eating at a table. You are also pretty much force to tip the driver that deliver your food if you want to get it hot or "you don't know what could happen" if you don't. Your expected to tip your hair dresser, your expected to even tip a cab driver... thats the one that really puzzle me the most. I know they deal with idiots and assholes, but im not one of them, therefore i don't have to pay for the downside of there job caused by others. Cab is so expensive as it is, im really not gonna give them 5$ more or whatever. Obviously i don't expect my 65 cents change when paying, but im not gonna give them several $ of tips.
But then you have me and my familly, on a delivery truck, delivering bags that weight 40 pounds each, sometimes having to take them to the basement, and let me tell you some clients have very crappy basements where you can't even walk normally cause your too tall or there stairs are hard to get by. I even saw once a client that wanted us to take the bags to the basements and there stairs where full of shoes and other stuff. Like cmon dude, you KNOW we coming, clean your damn stairs. And guess what? Its like super rare we get tips. Because we offer a service that is not "general" , we are the only one doing this pretty much in the eastern township. Peoples don't have the reflex to tip at all. And the few times we receive tips its from mister everybody, even tough we have rich clients. When i say rich im not saying at ease or whatever, im talking properies ranging from 800 000$ to 1 million $, wich is A LOT in our part of the province. These people sometimes even try to avoid taxes by asking for no invoice... wich we can't do as its illegal :/ So all of this to say if there is peoples deserving tips its us, yet nop because we are not the pizza boy, peoples don't have the reflex or feel obligated to tip us like they do for him.
Sorry if this sound a bit like a rant, but i mean it, tipping in society is really weird in general. Some areas really do not deserve it... But i do think SP does
My favorite gifts, though, are toys. I LOVE receiving a toy (as long as it's brand new of course LOL).
Toys? Thats surprising !! Im sure your one of the few that would apreciate this kind of tip lol. What kind of toys? Im curious
Tipping comes in all forms, such as paying for the room....
Yes and no...
I mean i feel you on this, i come from out of town, so i get a room, i pay between 100 and 200$ average on a trip to MTL before even seeing anybody. Obviously this depend on if i can have a ride trough those facebook groups, they usually end up much cheaper than the bus but sometimes bus is a must. Also summer and winter hotel prices are VERY differents. Room varies from 60$ to 120$ ... depending on the time of the year, even for the same room.
So yes im nicely place to know about those expenses BUT its not giving anything to the provider. If anything they usually prefer doing incall. I understand why, its much easier to prepare themselves, and once the client leave they remain in there own stuff. And they avoid traffic so they can probably see more clients. Pretty much the same reasons why i prefer outcall even if i didn't had the room already anyway. Its so much better to receive in the comfort of your place, even if an hotel room.
So the only time i could see this being a valid argument is for the "only outcall" agencies or indies, but still...
