Chase Oliver is who I am for. If I was an American citizen, I would vote for Chase Oliver. He aligns with my values. I mentioned him a few times in these threads. It is too bad he will not get a majority.
He'll likely get between 1% to 3% of the vote. He seems like a decent enough person but too anti social security and too pro gun for my tastes. Libertarians are not seen as a viable political party in the US.

There's nothing Democratic about booting Biden out of trying for a 2nd term. Anyway, Dems want someone they can control. Kamala is the face but in no way the decision maker. And the country (and world) was much better in Trump's 4 years than Biden's. We'll see what happens, I'm hoping Americans are smart enough to see through the bullshit media.

Some Americans will but unfortunately the sheep will follow the shepherd ( CNN etc…).

Many people are asking why Kamala Harris is bringing Timmy Walz along to her first interview. The answer is that Walz will be there to hold her hand, just like your Mommys did when all of you were 4 years old. Trump aides believe she will stumble when asked difficult questions; Walz is there in a relief pitcher role, to get a "save" if needed:

Who cares, it's a CNN interview, they'll be spoon fed and treated very delicately. And not to mention questions submitted in advance.

Biden stepped away voluntarily once it was clear he no longer had the ability to lead for another 4 years. Trump's term was a disaster and an assault on democracy.

From what I read it's unscripted. The only question is how tough Bash will grill her on the issues. We will see. Bash doesn't need to make a name for herself or get promoted. Depends on how much she cares about doing her job.

None of that is true. This dual interview will help to introduce both Harris and Walz to the American voters on the same night. It's a shorten campaign season for them. They need to get in front of voters quickly. Haven't right-winger been complaining that they haven't been interviewed yet? Right-wingers are never happy.

None of that is true. Dana Bash is an excellent and fair journalist.

You have actually managed to talk yourself into this.
She is about as unbiased as you are.

There is nobody on CNN that isn’t in the pockets of the Democrats same thing is true for Fox News with the Republicans and anybody who is a realist and has the slightest bit of objectivity will own up to this.

I think yours is a prejudged and unfounded opinion. While you are entitled to your opinion, as biased as it appears, why can't you wait until the interview airs before you condemn the interviewer? CNN just released a small clip of the interview and Bash was asking a tough question of Harris.

I am one of the few who is not biased at all.
I don’t think Trump or Harris are good candidates.
Either way in reality it won’t make much difference to me unless one of them decides to enter into a situation that will cause a war.
I have arranged my life not to be affected much by a change in government in the US or even here in Quebec/Canada.

There hasn’t been an earth shattering change in the US or Canada regardless of who was in power, I think the people in both countries would rise up and quickly put an end to any government that would drastically change their life style for the worse or put them in immediate danger for their lives.

EagerBeave is right. I do not remember Obama or Bush bringing their VP candidates to interviews.
