Mainstream media in general is biased based on its political affiliation. I would take news with a grain of salt. The far-left spreads lots of lies, the perfect example is the covid pandemic, what we saw the last two years is the perfect example of McCarthyism. Look at Trudeau, he is a compulsive liar. This statement is not by any means I support Trump because I do not and he is not much better.
I disagree. There are many excellent, trustworthy journalists using credible sources with solid documentation. The truth is out there if you are discerning in your search for the facts.

Litteraly nobody cares about the far-right and the threat to democracy lunacy and you bet everyone has forgotten… do you wanna know why? It’s very simple since 2020, Americans are struggling like never before and it’s the same or worse in Canada.
The economy is completely fucked, kaput, hardworking people can’t afford food, they can’t afford housing and they can’t afford put fuel in their car to go working at a 40$/h salary that feels like borderline poverty.
Everything is wrong right now there is no other way to put it, the rich are a lot richer and everyone else is struggling someone has to answer for that. Leaders like Biden, Harris, Trudeau and Freeland have done a lot of wrong they allowed the bullshit to happened and now we have to clean the bullshit.
And the rich would get even richer with trump. In the US the middle class has been suffering since the Reagan years. Rebuilding and supporting the middle class is critical. Corporate greed is endemic. Despite record profits, corporations continue to squeeze the middle class.

Biden and Harris had nothing to do with the worldwide post-pandemic inflation. Whoever was in office post-pandemic would be in the same position. Trump has no solutions. All he brings is revenge, chaos, division, authoritarianism, and incompetence.

Democrats also lust for money and power. Usually the wealthy are voting for Democrats.
I've spoken to several wealthy Americans and an American tax lawyer. They were unanimous in favouring the Republicans because they reduce taxes officially and surreptitiously (by creating new deductions and loopholes). The Dems attempt to undo some of their policies when they are in power.

It is true that some multi-billionaires don't mind paying higher taxes (e.g. Buffett), but they are the exception.

But he does not pay higher taxes. Nothing stops him from not taking deductions.

Buffett will be one of the biggest beneficiaries of the step-up basis where when you die your assets’ cost basis magically goes up to the asset value making capital gain taxes disappear.

That is one boondoggle Kamala will not touch! Trump too of course… they both enjoy donor money :)

Interesting info tonight. In Maricopa County Arizona, the building where the votes will be computed has been transformed in a maximum security prison following the dangerous 2020 election situation.
I will let you guess who (which party) threathened the security of the election workers !

Trump gang members (cheaters) introduced a rule in Georgia specifying that all the votes should be counted manually at Trump's request.
Republicans and democrats working on election organisation don't agree with that ruling.
It will almost certainly retard the counting of the votes. And who knows what else ?

Language and Rhetoric of Both Candidates Analyzed:
Make no mistake, the barbs being exchanged by these candidates, and the caustic rhetoric increases the chances that more assassination attempts will be made on both candidates. All they are doing is stoking the crazies, and galvanizing the delusional sociopaths amongst us.

Around the corner
As I have said many times it is not the cream that rises to the top in politics but the egotistical assholes yearning for power and money and control.
They care nothing for the people who elect them and need to pay back the even more dangerous puppet masters that funded their campaigns.
Unfortunately for the US they have 2 of the most deplorable candidates in their history.
One a corrupt arrogant full of himself asshole, and another a cackling salad dribble fool that changes her mind on everything which ever way the wind is blowing and will be mocked and laughed at by all the other world leaders as a weak and ineffective President just like the current one

I just hope Harris puts in a better performance in the next debate- be a little more professional, no cackling, and would like to see a forceful closing argument with specific examples of what she will do, and how it will be an improvement on current situation. She also needs to address the war in Gaza situation a little more directly, especially since polls show Arab Americans do not want Harris as President. She has a lot of work to do, to earn votes she will need.

Her performance in the first debate was excellent. She was poised, thoughtful, and presidential while trump looked angry and sounded like a lunatic. It is he, not she, that needs a better performance, but he is only capable of inflaming his fanatics. The more he opens his mouth, the more independent voters he loses.

Not true, it is she that needs the better performance, for people are/were expecting more, especially undecided voters.

At 45 days/election not sure there are still ''undecided voters''.....on what planet are they living???....lolll.....if so they will not vote.....the choices are already made....and at only 13days/election i really believe another debate would have no impact.....all she has to do is to b more, more visible and address ALL the issues that matter to voters....she will do it....and continue to b radiant......she will win.....my 2 cents.
