What are the biggest myths on hobbying?

Drawn from conversations I've had with a self-appointed industry expert:

All the girls HATE all the clients. Each and every single one.
No girl ever has a good time with a client.
The girls are always acting and nothing but.

His mythology is quite counter to my own experiences.

Sounds like a very jealous, bitter, arrogant Mr. know it all individual who probably has never ever been with a sp and who really knows f--k all!!!, i hope he is not a merbite.

A young woman I'm particularly fond of tells me that 30% of her engagements are fun, while 70% of them are work. She didn't elaborate to tell me how many of those 70% are ugly work. It's no myth that you'll be well rewarded for your efforts

EEK!! How can a girl stay in this business if it is like that for her? I would have to venture a guess that she works for an agency as I personally have much better clients now that I am indy as opposed when I worked for agencies.

It certainly is not like that for me! If it was I would have been long gone!

My personal experience was that the drivers (and male operators) were dirty disgusting and obnoxious - most end up harrassing the girls all night long, act like clowns in public places trying to push the girls onto strangers at Norman Patate and walking around like their big pimp daddies or whatnot... yeesh!

This was my experience with the agencies that I worked for, I am in no way saying that all males in the biz are like that (although I would never again work for a man or be driven by one)... I couldn't wait to get out of the damned car and into see a client! I even bet that you Nooky have dated an SP you have driven... happens all the time, and the driver always thinks he is better than the clients.

They put on an act in order for the client to feel somewhat comfortable and "wanted" in order to establish some kind of clientelle. The more intelligent SP's are the ones that make the client (like yourself) feel like they are in Love and really enjoy every minute. The minute their date is over, they can't wait to tell people like myself how Filthy, Obnoxious and Naive the client really is.

From the days when I was a Driver until today in my other line of work, I have had and continue to have many long conversations with hundreds of SP's about their life, family and most of all their client and let me tell you, ALL the SP's are completely disgusted by their clients!

I am sorry Nooky but I would look at the agency I was driving for. Also my experiences with drivers for the most part (not all) was not too impressive.

I personally have "fallen for" more than one of my clients others I now consider good friends. This never happened when I worked for agencies, though some agencies seem to attract better clients than others...

What a jaded, downbeat view of this hobby! I know from my perspective that this is not universally true.

They all have some issues. Spending habits, Drug problems, Family problems, BF problems, Gambling, Psychological issues etc.

Again a perfect example how naive a client can be when he falls for a working lady.

Nooky,maybe you forgot that EVERYONE has issues , not only the "working lady". I've known quite a few girls that are well off and "decent" as some would say, who have drug problems .

you're on (I'm serious) . Where do I go for the test Nooky? I'm 100% confident that nothing but alcohol would be visible.1000$ would cover my tuition which is due next week . The only problem I have is with spending on corsets, stockings, boots and shoes. Some ppl are quick to judge people .

Another big myth is that SPs are unable to become loving, caring mothers. I have met enough SPs that are raising their children through this business and doing a damn good job under difficult circumstances, trying to shield their children from finding out what they do.

I also have met SPs that truly want to have a family in the future and I think that the overwhelming majority will make unbelievable mothers. My only advice to SPs that do want to eventually have a family is to test themselves regularly for gono and chlamydia since these STDs can cause infertility.

Hey - I NEVER smoked - disgusting habit to me.... drink, I love my red wine (Merlot, Shiraz and Rioja), a good Cognac occassionally, some delisciously thick beers (like Guiness and Pêché Mortal - that's local!) and in the summertime, feed me Mojitos and Margaritas but not too often! My real addiction is COFFEE!
