I am sorry for your experience, but it seems both you and kid were stuck with a womenly fight. The boy will get hell from his sister for not saving the seat and you were worried about "the stare" from your GF for not doing anything about the situation. The kid might have heard your GF saying she hates to take a ride on the bus with all these kids and her saying "No.." might have hurt his ego.

I am not saying that the kid is right, I just think that both of you were put into a situation which was not directly created by you.

Two Fundamental Mistakes

I recently went to la ronde with my girlfriend and on our way back (after a hot, exhausting day), we took the bus.

She said "Ack, I hate taking public transportation, especially when there's all these kids around."

Then we sat down on these seats, and one kid behind us (10-14) said (en francais): Oh, I reserved that seat (my gf's) for my sister. That was like two minutes after she sat down. She said "... No." and we went back to our conversation.

To my surprise, the kid started bonucing a ball on her backrest... It gets harder and harder. I was thinking "what's wrong with this kid?" So I turned and said "please, stop that." The kid didn't listen, he just keeping pounding. Alright, I guess... What can you do, he's 12... So we waited, and it stopped after a while. THEN, it started AGAIN... Now his friend is pushing my backrest. I don't know if people know this... YOU DONT MESS WITH A GUY'S GIRL. I was pissed, I don't mind kids, but DONT FUCK WITH MY GIRL! I was going to punch that kid... I turned around and said "You better fucking stop." and I stopped the damn ball with my hand. To my surprise, the kid said some crap in french and started AGAIN after I turned around. Luckily for him, the bus came to their stop and they got off. OMG, I was going through my law knowledge to see how I can mask my MENS REA to hurt him and hurt him by "accident"; generate reasonable doubt kind of shit, or try to paint the kid as some seed of evil.

I am a REALLY NICE PERSON. I don't do stuff like this (I was tired... and a bit sick). These dumbasses REALLY gets on my nerve. I probably weight twice as much as the kid and he's not even scared. What kind of idiot parents taught these kids? Where the hell are they? Why are they letting these idiots out by themselves (the kid had a friend/brother and a sister).

I felt so bad afterwards, I NEVER lost my cool in situations like this. In a bar, I would pay the bartender to handle my business. Somewhere else, I would peacefully settle any conflict. But these 12 years old REALLY GOT TO ME. I was thinking of punching them, can you imagine a 24 years old punching a 12 years old? I blame the parents, I want to have some GOOD OLD talk with those parents. Tell them the what's what.

We NEED RULES in this world. Kids are going crazy. Lock the idiots up like adults. You fuck with people, be ready to get hurt. What's with the softie Juvies? Put them with adults, let them taste prison ! If we are afraid of "hardening" them as many liberals believe... FINE, lock them up LONGER, enough so that if they commit a few offences, they will NEVER get out.

We don't need criminals in this world, why are we treating them so well? That idiot kid WILL NOT grow up to be a doctor or a busniess man, he's going to be some street trash... Might as well send them to some overseas labor camp now and get it over with.

Either that, or don't let idiots (his parents) procreate.

Two fundamental mistakes based on the scenario you posted.

1.) NEVER let potential trouble get behind you. Always keep it in front of you.

2.) ALWAYS have a way out. Safety is the priority not the issue of the seat.
Seated,the kids may be controlled as standing you have a distinct
advantage - assuming you know how to use it.

You do not mention the bus route but if it was the La Ronde / Papineau Metro run then you are not heading into the best part of town. Depending on how late at night and the age of the kids the assumption for potential trouble would have been appropriate.

JC, what did the kid was supposed to be afraid of? He knew the chances of you hitting him were minimal and, he knew if you did, you were in bigger trouble than he was. What can you do? Tell the driver? He would have been screwed same way you were because, to expell them, he would need to wait for cops so, delaying everybody.

Today, kids have the big end of the bat and they know it. They're not afraid because they have nothing to be afraid with adults! Kids their own age are more dangerous than we are!

I had a similar problem in the train today. This kind of reminds me why i loved taking my car to work so much. Anyways their was little kids with their mother i assume and they where screaming all over the place and had this horn and they kept blowing it. It was pretty loud... Keep in mind this is at 6:30 AM in the morning without my caffeine injection. After 5 minutes, i go up to the mother and ask her if she can tell her kids or the kids to stop doing that because its bothering me and the other passengers which it was. Anyways she tells me to mind my own buissiness. Normally if she was not a women i would of punched her in the face right there but since i dont hit women i went to see one of the inspectors on the train and told him she was disturbing the passengers so he went and told her to stop and she made a big issue out of it to him to anyways so in the end he asks to see her ticket which is his job and guess what she had none LOL. But seriously if the guy was not there i probably would of snaped and done something stupid. When u make a effort to ask something politly and they answer you like a bunch of illiterate retards its like you freaking snap.
