We'll agree to disagree on this oneBad remake with so much potential, best adaption is the one with Gerard Depardieu back in 1998. Cette version auss était tellement trop longue 3h je crois ouf.

Absolutely.I was anticipating this movie to come out since i had heard a lot about it & the day it was available i bought it & to be honest found it a bit disappointing when i first saw it. However after the movie i went online to find a few reviews & they were quite the eye-openers & i realized that i had missed so many key details as i was watching it. Like the background noises, for example. The noises from the death camps. So i watched it again the following day with the clarification & details from the reviews in mind & absolutely loved how brilliant the movie was!
Funny that you mention this movie. I watched it again last week. I think this was the third time i watched it & for me it always gets better every time i see it. For me i consider it a masterpiece & Christophe Walz is absolutely brilliant in this movie. Django Unchained is another Tarantino movie that i’ve watched again recently & like the other movie it gets even better the more i watch it.Biggest disappointment for me was Quentin Tarantino'S INGORIOUS BASTERDS. I did watch the trailer 20 times and thought it was more an action movie than usual for Tarantino.
Man I hated the movie with all my guts in the movie theater!
Same here, not many movies but most are amazing.Funny that you mention this movie. I watched it again last week. It's a terrifying movie about what I would call ''ordinary violence''.. basically normalized violence.. I thought it was brilliant as well. This subject is a bit exhausted, but it could be applied to other situationsI was anticipating this movie to come out since i had heard a lot about it & the day it was available i bought it & to be honest found it a bit disappointing when i first saw it. This is so weird.. I don't remember the trailer but it never seemed like that type of movie before I saw it lol. The soundtrack is very memorable. There was viewers who wanted to be refunded because they were so disappointed during Nicolas Winding Refn's DRIVE. Their argument was they thought it was a Fast and Furious type movie, based on their views of the trailer!

It’s in another thread. Are TV shows allowed here or is there another thread?
Stallone has been in very good movies. I also loved the Expendables series. By the way have you his recent series “Tulsa King” on Paramount+? I think it’s surprisingly very good!Due to recent posts I watched the whole Rambo series just incase I decide to look on LL.
Stallone will always be famous for his Rambo and Rocky movies.
Not exactly actor of the year but he does well in these movies where no thinking is required.

Watched it a few weeks ago and wasn't overwhelmed, maybe i'll have to watch it again.Amber Alert (2024)
Just finished watching it. Absolutely great movie! I may even watch it again tomorrow!
I was also somewhat disappointed with Longlegs. But i saw it at the movie theatre back-to-back after Trap, which i liked. I figured maybe i was a bit too tired when it was time to watch Longlegs so maybe it deserves that i watch it again to appreciate more.Maika Monroe yes but I did not like longlegs at all, but it follows is a classic in my book great horror movie with great story and acting.
Smile 2A bit disappointed by the second opus, the actress is incredibly good but the story a bit lazy.
For smile 2 you probably meant Naomi Scott Maida Monroe is not in smile 2. Some actors are simply amazing Boyd Holbrook, Tom Hardy come to mind, but some are not Chrisopher Walken and George Clooney they seem to be the same person in every movie they play in.Smile 2
I watched it last night & to my surprise i really enjoyed it. It was much better than what i anticipated & i came in with an open mind. Maika Monroe deserves an Oscar nomination for her portrayal of the main character. I can’t think of any other actress who could have pulled it off. What possibly made me enjoy the sequel is the fact i totally forgot the first movie.
I stand corrected & will take your advice & watch Smike again tonight. I’ve watched several horror movies over the past few days that it gets confusing at times. I watched ‘It Follows’ last night & no wonder the actress didn’t look like tge one in Smile 2’.For smile 2 you probably meant Naomi Scott Maida Monroe is not in smile 2. You need to watch both movies back to back smile 1 and 2, I love the first movie and how the second one starts is so amazing. I know realize i have no life this is how many movies i rated in the last 10 years on IMDB 3786 movies rated hahahha and i still find movies i did not rate every week.
Confusion confusion joint the club bro because some movies are confusing i do agree, I just saw Elevation which is a sci fi semi horror movie and still wonder were the hell did those creatures come from (same people that made A quiet place.I stand corrected & will take your advice & watch Smike again tonight. The actress in ‘It Follows’ was the main actress in ‘Longlegs’, correct?
By the way i really enjoyed ‘It Follows’. I regret not seeing it sooner. As for ‘Smile 2’ i enjoyed it but may have enjoyed it more had i watched it right after ‘Smile’. I didn’t even realize until now that this character was also in the first one. By the way the way they smile is so damn spooky! They remind me of some psycho ex-stalker that was obsessively after me for two years to fuck her! Scary shit!
