Hello all,
I had one very long experience with an "Indy". The great thing about getting to communicate with her and see her was the 100% direct personal contact with absolutely no filtering and no go betweens like partners, bookers, or managers. I could understand if at times someone else had to respond because of time restrictions or personal responsibilities. I've been through that kind of dealing with an Indy, but the true Indy is typically in direct contact on every issue most of the time.
Cheers,
Merlot
you wouldn't believe the stupid fucking things they asked me...but jesus christ, people can be fucking annoying!
for myself , it's just about talking directly with her for few minutes, i know that for most of you ,it doen't matter, but for me , just the sound of her voice , the way she talk, can decide if i want to meet her or not.
and that's important for us and that's also our main reason for dealing with indies.
But to me sometimes the lines is just too thin between real indies and so called indies
Like Jezabelle and Gabrielle garnier and their so called agent phil
When you consider their agent used to work with them at their ex agencies and he is now working.
with them and also when their ads are always posted back to back.
To me it is more a small agency. Agency or not im sure the girls give a great service nothing against that.
To me an indy take care of her things she may be help by an agent but for real an indy the agent is not always taking over
and if it is the case then it is a small agency from my point of view

OK, enough, the main reason that a few guys (most are very nice and sincere gents) want to talk to the indy herself is to talk her into and manipulate her into discounts and/or cheaper rates,,,, if you think otherwise you are full of crap! STOP disrespecting the Indy's and pay the rates offered or GTFO of the business and stop hurting the rest of our reputations.
A few things:
(1) the word is spelled "feud". I know this looks goofy, but that's English for you
(2) I have no problem with you, lou. Please don't see this as an attack.
(3) I also don't find it necessary to speak with an sp before I see her. No biggie. The first meeting is a "Get to know you" meeting. If you want to do anything different or unusual, just save it for later. I don't expect an sp to do cartwheels when we first meet, but she might be into some crazy stuff. Just meet and ask her when you see her.
Amen. Thanks, brother!ok for feud or fued. at least i try to write in english, since i'm francophone.
for the rest, it my opinion, and you have yours.
respect evryone is the key of success.
le respect est la cle du succes.
