When will EagerBeaver be back?

I didn't know he was missing? I thought it was the other board that pissed him off though. We'll see in a few days. I know he's a little busy as of right now.

Just to clarify things, I did not start this post but joined in the original discussion. Not sure how many posts were above mine but now it appears as though I started the thread.

EB just needs time to think things over right now. If he decides to retire from the boards completely, i'll support his decision. However, i will be the first one to admit that i will miss his presence considerably. He is the biggest Yankee booster, biggest shill buster, and never afraid to speak his mind on the boards. Just give him time....we all need to take a break once in a while.

What's up with this?

It seems a little offending or maybe it's just me. I guess I put myself in his shoes and it would be very flattering but really, are we expecting his first post to be a "Presidential Acceptance Speech"??

Of course, EB won't have a problem exceeding a GWB speech but really, why the extra pressure?

I am disappointed he has not already joined in with us merb members for some fun discussions so don't push him away, please.....

EagerBeaver is a well respected member of this board and I believe a poll asking everyone's opinion about the date of his expected return on the board is inapropriate.

He was suspended for 3 days because of disrespectful comments, and although he has to accept responsibility for that, it's not the end of the world. We are all human and we all make mistakes.

As we all got to know him, EagerBeaver is very opinionated but has always shown a high respect for SPs and those working in this business in general (despite his controversial last post which I believe gives a false impression of what he really meant). He has helped this board in many ways in the past, by outing shills and other things, and I want to personally thank him for his continued support.

if he decided to leave for good because surfing the board(s) (and seeing SPs) has become an addiction (and I don't know if that's the case or not), I support his decision 100%. Otherwise, I hope he did NOT consider my temporary banishment as a "we don't want you here" message, and that he'll be back soon.

I'm certain that EB realized his error and that he might have been out of line. I have no doubt about this. He also has stopped posting on the other boards. Let's give him some time. I've also at one point in my past taken a long break since i realized that i was spending too much time on these boards and it was beginning to affect me personally. When i realized this, i figured it was time for an attitude adjustment and taking time off was a great healer in itself. Even though several of the members enjoy yacking it up with EB and sometimes getting him going, it's all a sign of total affection towards that particular member.
