Is that because all the replacement you where proposed where not as good ? What if she's better looking and better reviewed ?

Its not a matter of "as good" or not. Its a matter of personal taste. Its different for everybody obviously but when i get in MTL i rent a hotel and its a trip. So there is no "cancelling" possible in term of me seeing somebody that night. I would have made the trip and loose around 150$ for nothing. So if my plan A cancel, i usually have at least 2 other "plan A" possible. There is usually 3 girls at least at a time im interest to see and its a tough call on wich one i will book. So when i go to MTL i try to match there schedules, have those 3 on at the same time. Not always possible but when it is, its cool cause i know ill see somebody i want to see a lot no matter what.
But if the greedy booker decide to not tell me just to have me take a replacement and make money out of me no matter what(after all this does not matter wich girl i see for him, he get his cut anyway) then i may loose the possibility of seeing those other plan As cause by then they will get booked already. Uusually bookers know by 4 pm if a girl will be there or not. So at 4 pm i still have a chance to book a girl that start at 5-6. Maybe not Jennifer or another extremely popular one lol, but still plenty of great girls do not fully book before starting there shift. But if my booking was at 7 and he tell me at 6:45 ... then chances are its already way too late.
Honestly at that point, if im to go the "TOFFT" route, or see somebody that was not even on my radar at all, i will call another agency. No way i will encourage a booker that was greedy and made his 60-80$ cut pass over my
ONCE IN TWO MONTH TRIP that i saved 400$ for. This will also make me give a strike to that agency (3 strike and its out of my plans) and next time i will be much more carefull if booking with them again. Meaning ill make sure to have another plan A ready in case.
I know you have been a booker for 20 years and all, you think as a booker before as a client, and its true that for a Montreal Resident this situation would be different, either he will pass and wait for the girl he want to be on schedule again or if he is at ease financially and was "in the mood for this" that night, he will take the replacement and that will be fine. But every clients are different and its important to know this as a booker and respect it. Honesty goes a long way and i will praise it personally.
And just to be clear, its possible that this girl he offered as a replacement could be a gem. I remember a certain Vanessa, blond, best breast i ever seen, sure you know who i mean lol, that i saw completely out of nowhere cause i had a very sub par meeting earlier that day(and was so disapointed) and just happened to had 220-240$ left in my pockets (if i remember correctly i had plan to go raid the pawnshop in MTL the next day) Still to this day its in my top 5 best meeting ever. So yes sometimes there is hidden gems, and i could be super lucky. But i prefer to decide by myself. Even in the Vanessa case, she was not a replacement per say, i just decided to have a look on who was on that night after my disapointing meeting, her pictures looked good, her menu was open and i took a chance to call and it happened she was avalaible. Most likely cause the agency was very new and she had no reviews yet.
But in the end, always better to let the client decide by himself and not think of your personal greed when you are the booker.
