Not sure any restaurant serving reheated leftovers is a repeat for me
...........but to each his own.....
i got no problem just avoiding that one item of the menu if all else is worth it. I don't change my whole car if I only got a alternator problem.
for instance it's not like their chicken pad thai, which is not char grilled, is previously wok cooked.
now, I'd had pho from viet places where the bbq chicken pieces are clearly to me, pre bbqed and tossed into the pho (they hoping it rehydrates since it's added to the dish, almost like a garnish...beause hey that's how proteins are used in alot of asian dishes, but pass for me).
in contrast, i've also had the misfortune of while passing through boston a few years ago, tried one of their 'famous' italian places on one of their major streets in the north end.
i tried several of their american italian classics... one being chicken parm w/ a pasta.
sigh.
reheated cutlet with a simple canned sauce topped over. i don't think i'd be displeased if it wasn't around $24USD or so and labour costs of migrant workers.
That's a huge no no for a anchor dish and requisite price... (unlike a $11 pho with accented protein).
I'm at this packed italian place looking around like god... does nobody else know this is crap?
