Maybe I am a freak but there isn't a single movie or TV I didn't get sick of over repeated watchings.

Even movies I utterly adored and loved and spoke to me on a deep level, after 8 or 9 times I find them hard to sit through. If I take some serious time off I can watch them again but then it gets much quicker to get sick of them.

Oddly enough I can't watch monty python anymore [movie or TV] but I lvoe quoting them and watching the clips on the youtube. Ditto for Kids in the Hall.

National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation. Cousin Eddie is priceless!

I totally agree! For me one of my favorite scenes is the christmas lights seen. Priceless!

I will make a list of holiday-season movies which i never tire of watching.

p.s. I also wouldn't tire of watching the first National Lampoon's Vacation movie.

Grownups,

I agree Devil wears Prada was very good, the shoes, the clothes mmmm, love the look with the white shirt and tons of necklaces...wore it myslef often, still do...

Lily, I luv you, you're such a sweetheart...but, oh God, you're not helping. Shoes, hats, clothes, necklaces...ugh! BTW: don't tell anyone I looooooveed the oh so tall Chanel Boots. :eyebrows: Please don't tell me you have those with a cheeky ultra-mini skirt.

I did enjoy the movie as a very light break from all the tense adventure, cold blooded heartlessness, and slaughter I often see. Its great to just have a small laugh.

Since we are starting to reveal our dirty little secrets, and im really embarassed about this one....

Pitch Perfect

I feel equally as dirty as you do Merlot

Maybe we can both feel more like men if we say we were only ogling the hot women; Anne Hathaway, the models, Brittany Snow, Alexis Knapp.

Geeezzuzzzz, how did I forget:

Caddyshack

MASH

Fast Times at Ridgemont High

My Cousin Vinny

Blazing Saddles

Dr. Strangelove or: How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love the Bomb

Some Like it Hot

Animal House

Tall Chanel Boot with a cheeky ultra-mini skirt?!
WOWOWWEEWOW!

That should be my next request, that and I always liked a necklace or pearls on a woman. I didn't say pearl necklace so you guys wouldn't get the wrong idea.

And Merlot that is why I like pitch Perfect, its for the hot women. They are Acca-Amazing! wait did I just write that?

Forest Gump is the only one that always seems fresh and meaningful. The rich texture and enduring symbolism can't be ignored. Really a work of art. I also liked The Avengers and Star Trek 2009. And The 300 shot in Montreal is also at the top.

In a descreasing order of preference:

Pupl Fiction
Bridget Jones Diary 1 and 2, I read the third book (All about the boy) and waiting for the movie to come out
Love Truely
Le fabuleux destin d'Amélie Poulin
La vérité si je mens

Except Pulp Fiction all the others can be classified as "feel good movies", I like to re-watch them when I want to chill out on a cold weekend.

Gladiator - its on tv every couple months and I can't not watch it
Enemy at the gates - just a well done movie
Out of Africa - pure escape
Wings of desire (original 1987 version) - pure escape
Cousins - I fell in love with Isabella Rossellini in that movie
Lost in translation - the soundtrack makes this movie and transports me to another place
Ronin
Avatar - scoffed at the idea of watching a cartoon then watched it out of boredom about 2yrs ago and have watched it about 10 times since.
The original Bourne movie (identity, I think)
and more recently, thanks to reading the favorite movie thread on this forum......Edge of Tomorrow - the full metal bitch parts crack me up.

I have lots of favorite movies, but only a few that really keep my attention when I watch it again and again. My top pick is "A man from the Earth". Strangely enough the entire movie is a conversation in a person's home. "Interview" with Sienna Miller is a close second. Also a movie that is almost entirely a conversation inside an apartment.
