There are LOTS of movies that I can list, but somehow watching Groundhog Day over and over again seems appropriate, especially on the groundhog day.

But you mention King Kong... The question is, which King Kong?? 1933, 1976 or 2005? (or maybe all of them!)
2005. Though the scenes in the swamp with giant worms, bugs, etc, gets to me after a while.
Those were pretty gross. There were similar scenes in the 1933 version but they were removed from the final release.
