I believe that a person with confidence, charisma, a sense of humor and of course respect, will have it the easiest, being man or woman.

My opinion. I am not a handsome man, but i am a cutie pie;), and i love having fun and i have all the respect in the world for women, even the ones i dislike. And i believe i have done okay in life with the ladies.

You are asking the wrong question.

What is the cause for most of these issues? Hint: what system? Patriarchy.
(if someone disagrees with this basic fact, goodbye)

Who set up that system? Men.

Why are we still trapped under that system if it harms everyone? Men.

If men feel it harms them, why don't they want to change it?

Do they feel it benefits them more than it harms them?

Women can tell you patriarchy harms them far more than you believe it benefits them. We're just waiting for your cooperation because you set it up and without you it'll take a lot longer, be a lot more painful for everyone than it would be if you are on board.

So it must mean the benefits are greater for men? Otherwise why aren't you helping us tear it down to build something everyone benefits from?

That's really what it boils down to.

Right now, you're feeling some disruptions and it's uncomfortable. You're not used to it, you don't like it and you've never had to be in this position so you've realized it's been harming women. But you still haven't pulled all the layer hiding the invisible harmful effects so you're legit feeling like its even possible women have it easier when in reality it's objectively not the case overall.

So forget the checklist comparison and ask yourself why you're not changing the system you created if it's now harmful to you too.

Because it still benefits you enough and harms women more so you don't want to let it go.

As simple as that. Comparisons like that are always going to be off the mark because you can't accurately compare things you don't see or don't fully understand from a perspective different than your own.

We're just waiting for you to wake up and tear down the shit system with us. In the meantime, it's just going to be uncomfortable for everyone. Difference is we're used to it and you are not. And we're powering through it while you're making lists that have no actual purpose other than show you win the oppression Olympics.

I mean, identifying the harms men are experiencing is a necessary and useful step. The comparing with things you don't understand is entirely pointless. If you must, then go ahead and get it out of your system so you can move on and do something constructive with it.

Don't hate the messenger and thanks for coming to my ted talk.

Looks are more important to women then it is to man despite the stereotype we here all the time. It is more essential that a man be good looking and tall because women got it so easy in the dating world. I see memes like this quiet often posted by women on social media. Behold.

Impressive argument, friend.

Considering I'm an actual woman and therefore have the qualifications required to disagree... I will.... disagree with....your meme supported statement. :p

Women born in the West within the last 10 years and 10 years from now will have it easier than men on average. They will grow up in a society more careful about cold approach, equal opportunity, and other crap that impacts feelings of safety. They will be more educated than white men on average, be able to better integrate into society due to sociability, and have more avenues of revenue streams, if they’re unable to find “regular jobs”. Safety nets/ organizations are more plentiful for women as well, since stigma to reach out for help isn’t attached to their sex. There’s still a lot of abuse and stuff against women so they have it much worse in terms of harm done to them. The answer to the question is thus determined on whether you place more value on the positive or negatives.

If this thread is referring to the world in general it’s obvious women have it way worse, since they don’t have anything close to equal rights or opportunities in MANY parts of the world.

I'm not completely disagreeing. I think your vision of the future 10 years from now isn't quite accurate but the rest I'm in agreement with. I hope you found the videos interesting. I think there are good, important conversations to be had. Soon. Because the younger boys and men are going to need something better than Andrew Tate to adjust to a changing reality they'll be underequipped to (through no fault of their own) adapt to.

Apologize if the scope was more general, just thought I'd add a different perspective. I wasn't speaking about other parts of the world although that's obviously true. xo

No contest, if men had to go through a period once a month for most of their life, or go through pregnancy, labor and birth...
