To reply to hungry101, my post goes with some of what EB was saying. Agencies may not like when you write bad reviews and I imagine it may be less trouble to keep yourself incognito.
Why members give their handle to agencies or SP's?

Being a regular customer of some agencies, I don't need to indentify myself, they recodgnize my voice. I never mention my handle, but it's so easy for the agency administrators and the girls to find out who you are after readind your posts. As a matter of fact I was visiting an agency escort yesterday for the 4 th time and for the first time we talked about merb, and she joked on me in a very pleasant way because she very well knew who I was. If you are a true respectfull gentleman you should'nt have to worry about that nor try to take advantage of it. And If the question here is about privacy, well, we may as well close this forum, stay home, never call nor talk to an sp and live a safe and dull sex life!
A lot of advertisers both independent and agencies (from this board and others) offer discounted rates if you mention "merb special", etc. Why is that?
I think it is because they like to know there is a potential review coming so they will try harder to be punctual and pleasing. For this reason, and for the better rates, I usually mention where I found them. Never gave my handle though, didn't have one as I was always just a lurker.

I do not ask people handles but I am always happy to know it,as I said before ,you guys use the reviews to to decide who you are going to meet,me, I use your reviews and comments (and yes I noticed the horrendous spelling and grammar) to decide who I will agree to meet...

of course once I've met you if you post a review I will know for sure and Ladylover unless you meet a agency girls who lose tracks of her meetings even waiting 2 months let alone 2 weeks before posting, I will remember a meeting...

Some guys do very straight forward reviews, just saying what was included and what was not, not mentioning too much details, this way if they post 2-3 weeks after, there great chance the girl will not know who they are...
Anyway me personally i don't have a problem giving my name, and i always post my review right after a session cause its fresh... Yes sometimes i am on the excitation of the moments and i could edit it 3 days later and mention some details i didn't first but isn't it the point of a review to show your apreciation(or not) and what count is how you feel when she leave your room.
Also some agencies do discounts for merb, so well good to take care of that sometimes.
Haha... I do wait at least 2 weeks and when I write my review I am not describing what we did to detail but more describing the girl , if I find her attractive, what services were provided etc...
I'm not trying to write a descriptive novel of my encounter as that would surely give me away.
I do write how much I enjoyed my time and if I would repeat. I might even say I met her in the afternoon when it was at night or vice versa or even a weekend... Etc... (Of course I would make sure if she worked those other hours)

Now I don't know about the history of this board but most forums are started by people willing to ANONYMOUSLY (that's why we use a handle!) share their experiences and opinions with the purpose of gathering information on a particular subject. Now as far as we members are concerned, the main objective or benefit is to protect each other from false advertisement or poor service. That's where service providers (advertisers) interests greatly differ from ours as the sole purpose of their presence on this board is to make money, not to help us out. So I don't think that a bad review, objective or not, will be well received and without consequences, especially in this business. Obviously good and courteous reviews are welcomed by most. But I think anonymity allows us to point out the bad stuff and protect our interests as it prevents personal vendettas.
And as for the providers interests...well not really our concern but, as for any other service business, services delivered as advertised and courtesy are usually the key to a good reputation and a profitable business.
The truth is that, for the good or for the bad, you cannot expect to remain anonymous behing an handle when you decide to publicly comment on real life events.
I am sorry to tell you both that you could disagree on one of my opinions, but I was not expressing an opinion, I was relating to real life experiences. Mind you, I might be responsible for being too innocent in my reviews but I cannot imagine taking part to a public forum with my privacy as a main concern...Obviously, it has a lot to do with how much you feel you need to hide...and why.
