    They are at a dead end, to get voters to take notice of the party they need a new guy and new party ideas.

    Canadians had already taken notice of the party, and when the election was called, the NDP was in first place and could have formed the Government. However, Mulclair did not run a good campaign.

    BTW, the Leap Manifesto is the wave of the future.

    I think they did the right thing. He cost them the election, made two big mistakes. Going forward they need a younger leader and stick to their policies. Disclosure I did not vote NDP, they're not my party.

    The closest the NDP was to getting elected was when Layton was around, Mulcair was riding the Layton wave.
