Any comments and predictions?
It has nothing to do with impeachment he has the senate stacked in his favour
its all about trying to discredit him for the election.
he wont be impeached
he will win the next election
the stock market will sour because of this

Of course, the real goal is to inflict the damage that will diminish his chances to get reelected. But my impression is that they will get an opposite result. It was a stupid move for the democrats.

Around the corner
Not much entertainment value.
It is like watching a 5 day cricket test match without the beer.

Most people believe democrats want trump out of office and use impeachment as a means to a end.
In reality they know it will never happen in a republican controlled senate.
Their alternative motive is a long term play to cripple trumps presidency.
The impeachment tactic is an attempt to make it easier for democrats to win more seats in 2020.enough to gain control of the upper chamber-which would all but cripple Trumps ability to get anything done in his last 4 years of office.
There is no mathematical way he is ever going to be convicted. So its not to remove him from office it to neuter his second term.If trump wins 2[SUP]nd[/SUP] term and he does not have the senate he is not going to get any judicial vacancies filled. And he wont be able to replace a supreme court justice if he retires.
Consequences of not having the support of a republican controlled senate. He wont get the foreign policy he wants. He wont get the cabinet he wants.

Some people should remember that we live in a free society of rights. Not in a society of right or wrong. Of win or lose. Of friend or enemies.

What Trumpet did was so fucking stupid yet he did it. He tried to bribe a foreign government for his own personal advantage.

Even if because of how things are structured politically the impeachment has zero chances it was the right thing to do.

As for the stupid egoist and liar Trumpet itself I kind of hope he remains in office as other Republican who could replace him are far worst then him. I mean fuck can you imagine having Pense? With him it would mean America back to jesus the lord where any kind of fun (beside praying god) is strictly prohibited. Just thinking of performing a face fuck would put you in jail for 5 years. Even the immigrated american Iranian will go back to their yalatola ;)

On the Democrat side they have zero candidate right now. So yes it will back to 4 more years of Trumpet.

Cheers,

Of course! And when the current one fails, they should start the next one right away. That will at least keep them busy for the next five years.

Leon Trotsky back in the day was a huge fan of the so called "Permanent revolution". His modern-day successors apparently decided to settle for "permanent impeachment" instead. Godspeed!

Wait how many impeachment have we seen in history? What prompt you to think they will start another one right away? It took 3 years to get one dude.

That is not exactly a secret for those who follow events. Maxine Waters said as much openly, for instance, just the other day. In case you don't know her, she is the intellectual lady who once said that Putin annexed Korea.

It took 3 years to get one dude.

Well, it pains me to admit that, but apparently they are not the brightest specimens of the human species. But perhaps they will get better in their next attempts, who knows.

Sorry but you make no sense Bred. First you mention that democrats will impeach the Trumpet very often. Which is not true. Put upon the fact you you bring this bullshit up. You are just a troll after all. Try to have some valid point (along or opposed ot ours who gives a fuck) it could help your interactions with others.

Cheers,

Not American (guess lots in here are) imho Trump is the most American president US ever had in the last 50yrs, hate him or like him he’s as American as Big Mac and the confederate flag. Blaming Russians Ukrainians etc won’t help the Democrats case he’s a product of years of TV consumption, bad education system and money/celeb worship.

I don't think it was a stupid move, in the short term, some people might not want to live another 4 more years in that kind of political situation. Trump overexposes himself, people will get fed up of seeing him or hearing him say stupidities. I personnaly think that if Trump would be impeached, or resign, and someone like Mike Pence would run for president they would have a slightly better chance.

In the long run, republican congressman and senators can have repercussions of the positions they are taking right now. For example voting against having witnesses or documents in a trial, how can they look reliable later on?
Joe Biden for example is getting critisized right now for voting for the invasion of Irak 20 years ago.

I agree with much of that, but, just for the sake of the argument, what makes you think that his education was so bad? He graduated from Wharton, one of the two or three best business schools in the U.S. No one apparently knows anything about his time there, so I would be cautious with any definite conclusions.

I’m not talking about Trump but the majority of US population who don’t the have the access to decent education
i find it ironic that richest nation on earth yet teachers wages is developing countries level.
thats being said Bush graduated from Yale, Trump isn’t dumb though, he knows how to emotionally lead masses. the guy never been republican and most of his life circle (till his election) were liberals, but this won’t help his political career

Good one Jal, I thought this thread was going to be a boring one like Chuck Shumer's speaches.
I was expecting little more of entertainment on the first day of a so called trial.
Trial that the whole world know what the outcome is going to be, what a joke.
I think impeaching, going to trial for BBBJ was more livelier (So far).

Of course! And when the current one fails, they should start the next one right away.

I think Donald will be safe for the next 5 years, great for entertainment (On a serious note, great for the Americans/MAGA/Trade deals Etc).

But next targets of impeachment most probably will be
Ivanka Trump
Then will be
Eric Trump
And so on and so on
You get the picture...

Well, I think that point is arguable, to say the least. I happen to believe that people who are really eager to get decent education usually find a way. And, it goes without saying, American universities are by far the best in the world. Who in your view gets to attend them?

This is a fucking shit show. It’s the only thing CNN is broadcasting and I gotta switch to sky news or BBC to get world news. In the end Trump will get re-elected and probably with a bigger mandate than 1st time
