One of the troubling things is that the incubation period for the Corona virus is up to 5 days.

To cancel basketball games and tournaments seems to be a bit much, don't you think? The community that is most susceptible should avoid these events. To the typical student, fan there is not more danger than the normal flu. Maybe we should cancel March Madness every year so no one gets a cold and plus you can turn an ankle walking down those steep stairs to get to your seat in those arenas.
The actions that young, healthy people take, including reporting symptoms and following quarantine instructions, will have an important role in protecting the most vulnerable in society and in shaping the overall trajectory of the outbreak.
We have a flu outbreak every year. Why don't we ban all travel February - May every year. You know, to keep everyone safe? And then after May 1st we can go back to worrying about Global Climate Change?
