Sounds like it could be an alternate ending for The movie The 12 Monkeys. If everyone was wearing a mask let’s hope that’s enough to prevent this from becoming a super spreader event.

Russia claims to have the first Covid-19 vaccine:

This is the one they tested on prisoners? Do we know how many of them spiked fevers and died?

Things must really be bad in Russia for Putin to make such a reckless move. But not totally unexpected seeing as Russia’s main exports like oil & weapons r way down due to Covid-19. Reeks of desperation.

Look behind you.
^^^^^ Yeah, probably no one will even know they have it " if " they do get it.
It would be the same as saying everyone walking down the street is exposed, big deal.
I wish the reporting would be something like.
36,000,000 people, 0.03% caught this deadly virus. 0.0025% died from it.
Lock down now, wear masks and destroy the economy.
Sorry but getting tired of the media.
Enjoy the day.

Russia for sure did a viral Challenge on prisoners. There’s no way they could get a workable vaccine put this quick. N also, notice how USA is now building their own SARS-2 virus to use in potential viral vaccine challenge studies.

I am almost certain this is not the first or last attempt by Russia or China for viral challenges on prisoners.
The stakes are high not only for $$ but prestige as well for being the first to develop a working vaccine .
Human life means little to these governments.

The United States will extend to a ban on non-essential travel at land borders with Canada and Mexico for another 30 days as several states struggle to contain a coronavirus outbreak, a top U.S. official confirmed Friday:

More than half of medics surveyed in Russia have said they do not trust the COVID-19 vaccine touted by President Vladimir Putin as the country announced it had started its widespread production

In an online survey of more than 3,000 healthcare professionals via the Doctor's Handbook app, 52 percent of medics said they would not take the vaccine.

Of those doubters, nearly two-thirds, or 66 percent, said there was not enough data proving that it was effective, and just under a half, or 48 percent, said it had been developed too quickly.

An important nuance, this is not a unilateral decision by the US.
To dance it takes two.

It means the two countries will continue their mutual ban on non-essential cross-border travel until at least Sept. 21.

Yes, that's what the article says. Unlike a common misnomer that it was not as in the example below. "Because Americans actually have this tendency for excess" was never mentioned by either countries during this dance of two.

Wow, poor my Pillow guy. Anderson gave him a beating. Instead of talking about a lack of evidence for oleander working for covid, he just went on a rant insulting the my pillow guy. felt bad for him, but he is peddling bullshit, which Anderson didn’t focus on @ all. Talked more about his biz. Anywhoo, kinda makes me want to buy pillows from this dude and beat him and Anderson both silly

No, but it's okay, we don't bother you too much? Thousands of Chinese braved the most basic barrier gestures in Wuhan, the epicenter of the coronavirus, during a mega techno party in a water park that was causing a stir on social media this Monday.

To be sure, China, where Covid-19 emerged late last year, has largely brought the virus under control since then, with just a few dozen new daily cases reported in recent days by official records.

Perhaps we should keep a little gene.
In addition, the new cases are in the 20-40 age group.

What`s wrong with this picture ?
Wuhan has a rock party with thousands not social distancing and not a mask in sight, while Florida has more covid19 cases in a day than the combined European Union.

Those kids in Wuhan shouldn’t be gathering as such. Kinda surprised there was no government backlash. Kinda makes me wonder if they got a vaccine or something they already tested out on prisoners like in Russia that they are giving to people on the DL

Perhaps China already has a vaccine or a cure which they are not as willing to share as the virus.
I think TNB and I were thinking the same thing lol.
