Look behind you.
A rare mention of something on the other side of the Covid ledger - the people who die due to Covid restrictions.

The suicide, spousal/child abuse and addiction fallout from this will be huge.

Canadians Highly Satisfied With Covid Response By Government - 88% approval rate

The polls lie, people are very pissed at the money the POS is throwing around. Majority are not stupid and know the taxes are going up. Idiocy ay its finest. Make people dependant on government money, shutdown small mom and pop businesses, let the big franchises have a 30% profit increase. Nothing but good can come from that right?

Just read it. Think my statement still holds meaning. That “wall” between Canada and USA was not an intentional one like the one trump wants with Mexico. It’s not an actual wall but it does exist and it is @ expense of all the infections and deaths in USA. If USA had a comparable infection rate comparable to Canada would the border still be closed?

^^^^Good argument, I'm just happy that you read the article. I would say that the border would still be closed if we had comparable infection rates. Leaders want to be in control, even at the expense of people losing everything, monetarily everything.

Thanks for the fascinating read ssj3. Who would have known that this virus could cause so many complex reactions in our bodies. Now a lot of the reported symptoms are starting to make sense.

Canada to extend it's international travel ban:

Smart move. With the U.S. maybe extend it to Spring 2021 if the current administration wins a second term. I mean we got this Scott Atlas furthering this pandemic shit show.

As for India darn country can't even get the toilet thing right don't think they can deal with the complexities of this pandemic. Also that country is run by their version of the right wing nut job administration.

^^^^^^ Would you really take this?
No and my reasoning is it was made too quickly, supposedly mutated a couple of times, finding new side effects almost monthly.
This virus that wiped out 0.0025% of the entire Canadian population in 6 months, of those 95% were above 70 yrs older.
So chances of dying from this if under 70 and semi healthy is 5% of 0.0025%.
I will wait and see for a year if needed or not.

Yes, I would take it now. I think the science of vaccines is a lot, lot better today than it was in the 1950s.

I'm not sure that reputable scientists have said that Oct is realistic. This seems more like a Trump political stunt.

I can’t see any vaccine being offered premature in Canada
