Wonder who they bought it from? Buying one thing, distributing to general populations is another. Cant see Canada dishing out to non 1st responders before end of year. Truth be told, all the shit the media is complaining about trump trying to push a vaccine out by Election Day is kinda bullshit in both ways.
1. Trump is using this for sure to get votes. Not mentioning that those 1st doses will be given to 1st responders 1st before anyone
2. The media’s not mentioning this has been in talks for ages that if there’s overwhelming data in the next few weeks that the vaccine is safe and is preventing infection that they can go ahead and distribute to 1st responders. Just remember, this is not a " you will not get the virus " vaccine, it will be just like the flu vaccine with a 70% success rate I assume. Will 30% of the population even get infected.

I would take it even if it was only 50% effective just like I have been taking the flu vaccine for the past 5 years even though I cannot even remember when I had the flu last, must have been at least. 15 -20years.

There was no easy solution. The US didn`t have nearly enough spare masks for front liners let alone the general public.
Panic buying and hoarding by the public would have destroyed the supply for health care workers and first responders.
Either way the situation could have been ....should have been, better handled by the White House and senior health officials.
Thousands of lives were needlessly lost.

Science evolves, our top scientist figured a mask was not required for a virus, even watching TV you see masks on every time any airborne virus is around. To come out and say not necessary is against most theories about not catching a deadly virus.

I went to the supermarket and while waiting in line for a cashier , there was this young man breathing down my neck.
He was standing less than 2 feet away and his mask was not covering his nose. I told him to step 3 feet back and to fix his mask. He stepped back a bit but his nose was still uncovered. I told him that the nose was the major entry point for the virus. He said that there was no virus. WTF ??? I told him to visit a hospital and he replied by telling me that the hospitals were empty. I can`t believe that we are sharing this planet with idiots like him.
There are sub- humanoids thinking like this guy who will make sure the virus stays around for a long time. A few are leading countries like Russia, Brazil and the US.
