Here, some numbers.
Yes, be more like Alberta............ Also to note, great reason to bankrupt a country.
Ça me rappelle le film "Le jour de la marmotte" ( Groundhog Day ), le gars revie la même journée et repète les même choses, jours, après jour, après jours, après jours, après jour, après jours, après jours,...... ZZZZZZZ

Alberta was lucky on early months as a lot of midwest republican states. Now some of their leaders and a good part of the Albertan population are plain stupid!!! Stop looking at your belly button and learn from others.

Alberta had the privilege of employing thousands from other provinces ( something Quebec can not do ) and that is one reason for the cases. Wait a few months and we will chat about this some more, as for now, cases, really? Most do not even know they have this virus of all viruses.

With your Republican state comment, raw totals show that California 55,000 deaths and NY 50,000 deaths still lead the pack by a long shot.

The UCP leadership is horrible, and many if not most of its supporters are idiots.

But keep in mind a very large number of Albertans (myself included) are trying their best to be more responsible.

Alberta Premier Jason Kenney announced on Tuesday tighter COVID-19 restrictions for the province as the COVID-19 situation continues to worsen.

Effective Friday, May 6, all students from kindergarten to Grade 12 will be moved to online learning. Post-secondary education will also move online.

Workplaces with COVID-19 outbreaks will be mandated to close for 10 days, with exemptions for critical workplaces.

Capacity of retail businesses will be limited to 10 per cent of fire code capacity or a minimum of five customers. Places of worship will be limited to 15 people and funerals limited to 10 people.

Outdoor social gatherings will be limited to a maximum of five people with a strong recommendation to limit gatherings to two family cohorts.

Effective at 11:59 p.m. on Sunday, May 9, personal wellness services will close for three weeks, including hair salons, tattoo parlours, tanning salons and nail salons.

In-person dining at restaurants continues to be prohibited, but the government will now close outdoor patios as well.

Kenney also announced the fines for violating public health orders would also increase from $1,000 to $2,000. Tougher penalties will also be enforced for repeat offenders.

Well done Mr. Kenney, better late than never, but he had no choice.

Look up 'leadership' in any dictionary, and I guarantee you will not find a picture of the UCP caucus there.

CALGARY -- As the province gets set to open up COVID-19 immunizations to every adult in Alberta, some elected officials are keeping tight-lipped on their vaccine decisions.

CTV News has reached out to all 87 Alberta MLAs to ask about their vaccination plans.

Nineteen of those MLAs have refused to answer the question, even after repeated calls and emails. Of those 19, 18 are members of the United Conservative Party caucus.

The other MLA, Lesser Slave Lake's Pat Rehn, was recently kicked out of the party.

Look behind you.
Originally, in early 2020, maybe, but no longer. The current situation is due to UCP mismanagement and a lot of rural idiot yahoos.
Perhaps you should look into how many east coasters work in the oilsands, Alberta still employs more out of province people than any province. I think Qiebec has zero.

Many will probably not take the flu shots either, then more detailed explaining to do. Perhaps some are into alternative medicine and take no man made medications, lot of reasons not to take it and others do not need to know about your personal life.

Good news and bad news about COVID-19 in Canada.
The good news is the progress on vaccines with more doses arriving and in the pipeline, provinces are ramping up their rollout to younger Canadians.
The bad news is the virus is still spreading faster in some provinces than vaccines are arriving.
One of Canada's COVID-19 hotspots is Alberta's oil sands, where more than a dozen outbreaks have made hundreds of workers sick.

Not sure where you are getting your numbers. From the fed gov site Ontario 52, Quebec 14, Alberta 3.7

And here is the bigger problem for Alberta. Peak deaths is about 2 to 3 weeks after peak cases. Ontario cases peaked about 3 weeks ago and deaths are just starting to come down. Alberta hasn't hit peak cases yet.

OK, while the title says "Quebec", notice the drop down says "all regions". Trust the numbers I gave you :)
I caught that after you posted, thanks for the update. Just checked the sites again, when Ontario and Alberta are entered they show up, when Quenec is entered all show up and no way to get Quebec only, weird.
