The election was decided by Trump, same thing happened in Australia. Even though the Conservatives lost they still have over 40% of the votes. In the Carleton riding the win was narrow, 50.9% to the Liberals and 45.7% to the Conservatives which mean that the riding is divided in almost half. As for a seat, look at the difference. A MP sacrificed his seat and MP pay for Poilievre. But the Liberals threw out Chandra Arya from the leadership race and then threw him out of his own riding that he represented for 10 years to make way for Carney. No explanations were given. The methods speak volumes of the type of people in the parties.
