I agree with you both are bad choices for the US electorate. However, Hillary is a much worse choice given her KNOWN criminal activity, abdominal performance as Secretary of State, and her Crooked Charitable funds.

If she is elected and not prosecuted (if the fix is in), both Russia and China will do whatever they please - including starting wars in their respective regions. 1) I don't see them trying to do the convention coup on Trump. They will just try and defend against losses down ticket and maybe use it as a chance to break their self-made trap with his followers if he loses badly enough.

2) Even if he wasn't incredibly unpopular, the Electoral College map is tough for Republicans. Since he isn't going to bring in new voters much unless there is another terrorist attack or something else random, (and to be fair, ISIS will try to kill some people to get him elected) he is going to have a real hard time moving the needle. Even if the Republicans had a good candidate, they would have trouble. With Trump, it is going to take something unprecedented.

I think you are confusing libertarianism with conservatism. The question you should ask yourself are you a conservative or a libertarian? The conservatives are anything but about freedom they are quite the opposite. Conservatives claim to advocate small government but in reality they actually advocate big government in many areas such as drug prohibition, prostitution, abortion, taxes, gambling, faith based initiatives, immigration policy, etc.. They also strictly legislate behavior. Many conservative views have religious motivations or undertones. In a conservative government too much power and freedom is given to the corporations and they control and regulate peoples livelihood. The conservative platform on taxes might be lower income taxes but not on consumption taxes another policy that favors the rich. So you see there is no freedom in a right-wing conservative government. Right-wing conservatives are tyrants and dictate social behavior and give the ultra rich the tools to control and exploit working class people. Think of monarchism where the owners and elite exploted regular people. Right-wing fiscal policy dictates that if you are born rich you deserve to be rich and we will help you in any way to remain rich by exploiting workers and the consumers. Your last statement tells me you are a definite conservative. They are fighting because they all got right-wing religious beliefs. All want arms and all are seeking property, power, and money. In another thread you told me I was making an over generalization. You missed the point of what I was writing about anyway. One only needs to look at the pope if he wants to find a left wing religious zealot. About socialism....which is better socialism or capitalism? That experiment has been proven over and over again for the last 100 years or so. Compare East and West Germany, North and South Korea, Red China and the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics and let us not forget that the Nazis were National Socialists. They all start out by decrying the exploitation of the working class and end up enslaving their population and murdering millions. How many people have tried to escape Florida to swim to Cuba?
