I try not to think about it. Some of them can definitely afford it, but I'm quite sure others indulge beyond their means.

I don’t have a huge revenue and still I can afford a weekly session.
I found 2 gems fitting my needs and they are what we could say budget wise

I have engaged in this hobby throughout different eras of my life with varying amounts of disposable income. The amount of money impacts the selection and frequency, but I do not believe that meeting a sex worker is reserved for the rich.

Do you feel like booking an escort is a luxury? I know it isn’t cheap as most people charge a lot more than minimum wage per hour yet we have clients from all backgrounds (more modest jobs and very well paid).
It depends on the escort and their price point. An Indy escort in Montreal of course has to be considered higher luxury than an SP in a developing country.

Same as above, this completely depends on the encounter. For most SPs I don't have to budget specifically. It simply comes out of my disposable income account. I do not save for most encounters, but if I meet several SP in a short time period, it could mean I am eating out less that month or don't engage in other expensive activities that much.
Then there are those rare bookings where it actually requires planning both on the scheduling and financial side. I am talking mid 4 figures including flights and hotel. I am not financially independent enough, nor is my schedule, to just shrug this off.

Certainly, but I do not think it would increase the frequency of seeing escorts. I would maybe splurge more on specific encounters, but quite frankly time is a much more valuable resource.

Not at all. A lot of people make much more money than I do, and probably have a less hectic life. Or they do not have other hobbies they invest heavily into. So there is no surprise to me if someone spends $2000 a month on the hobby. Now if someone spends between 5-10K each and every month that's where I would question the return on investment.

I had 1-2 duos in my life (non SPs) and while they were nice experiences, I cannot imagine myself paying for this. I think I would prefer 2 separate encounters with each girl.

Considering how the cost of living has gone way up since covid, the housing crisis, this hobby is definitely a luxury especially with Indy prices. The average joe will not have much left over for this, and booking an escort is not a necessity.

It's all relative, but it is a luxury for the average Joe. More than it used to. I have an ok salary, probably above average but not rich by any means, and i often have to think twice about the financial impact before booking. I used to meet every week or so, now it's closer to once a month, or less. It is how it is.

I'm always paying myself first (savings, CELI, REER and such), then pay the bills, then use what's left for leisure activities, which includes sex but not only. And sometimes, there's just not enough left. I have no debts besides mortgage though so i feel financially responsible, but sometimes luxury is left behind.

And yes, i'd sure like to have a bigger budget.
