Oh man i would love to see the postgame presser by Torts tonight! BabCock would be a good fit in VanCity but Torts would be suicidal in Deadtroit!

I'd love to see Torts in hogtown. He's just the kind of coach for a piece of crap like the leafs.

Yes, pretty impressive display against a premier team. It was nice to see the Leafs fire on all cylinders.

Don't get too excited. Just remember their 3 consecutive losses to the Islanders, Blue Jackets and Habs. Strange things often happen in hockey - that's proven any time the leafs manage to win a game.

Oh man i would love to see the postgame presser by Torts tonight!

The Canuck collapse brought back beautiful memories of the leafs and their HISTORY-MAKING EPIC COLLAPSE against the Bruins last year, when they got knocked out as expected in the first round after making the playoffs for the first time in a decade...in a shortened season.

If the leafs luck into the playoffs this year (for only the second time in a decade's worth of failure) I'll be looking forward to a lot of laughs as I watch them get their asses kicked again and get eliminated in the first round again. Of course, I might get unlucky: they're about due for their usual late-season collapse, so we might be deprived of the pleasure of seeing them again get humiliated in the first round. Any way you slice it though, it's 47 YEARS of complete and utter failure! BTW, nice to see Burke continuing his losing ways in Calgary.

But one thing is almost certain: THE DETROIT RED WINGS WILL NOT MAKE THE PLAYOFFS AND THE NEXT FIVE YEARS WILL BE PURE HELL FOR THEIR FAN BASE

You best keep on a guessing my man, as Les Scabitant had a "glorious" (haha) chance to get within 1 point of the Leafs tonight and went on to lose their 3rd in a row. Nice to see the "Savior" Thomas Vanek get another goal as a habnot tonight, oh wait a minute

My guess, not for long. Enjoy it, it is not going last to long.

Yes, pretty impressive display against a premier team.

"A premier team" that got CLOBBERED 7-2 by the Flames (the only team even close to being as nauseating as the leafs).

The Ducks ARE a good team - WAY better than the stinkin' leafs - but they are clearly out of the zone right now...which happens to even the best teams in a long season. Face it: two douchebag teams got lucky that they played Anaheim at just the right time.

No wonder you're bragging: The leafs found THEIR savior and it only cost them a little over $35 MILLION for....SEVEN YEARS. But wow is that David Clarkson ever helping them!

Oops, my mistake: I just realized that by signing David Clarkson, Dave Nonis made one of the most boneheaded hockey moves of all time...EVEN for a LEAF GM!

 You should put money of that Doc, A LOT OF $$$$$$$$$

:thumb:

Hey, what's up? I thought Doc was your friend! The poor guy recently posted about losing $100 and now you're encouraging him to piss away everything! Tyler wouldn't do that to Phil!

Look behind you.
Ok I can not really slam any team since I cheer for the Oilers but I saw this on facebook and keeping it to form.
What does a leafs fan do after the Toronto Maple Leafs win the Stanley Cup?
Put away his X-Box and go to bed.
I had to laugh :)

A coach on the hot seat? You bet!

:help: :help: :help: :help: :help: Me!

Kenny-boy holland should go after Ted Nolan to coach the dead things and maybe bring them back to life in a few years after the final game that ends April 13th, the day b4 the "things" hit the golf course. Nolan is a great coach and would clean house and start the much needed rebuild in deadtroit.

That picture was cropped up considerably. I saw the original on some Hate Dead Things site and it showed Babcock sitting on a toilet with his pants down past his knees & having a crap. Considering how awful his team has played recently, you can't blame the poor guy for being a victim of diarhea every time his team loses!

One also has to think that with datysuks and zettyburgs injuries at their ages, that their best days are behind them. If they were a very young team (like the up and coming Leafs) then no worries about where they sit in the east on this date, but the fact they are a older team with their so called "stars" (who are mid to late 30's or older)being injured and or declining skills (datysuk/zettyburg/clown alfie/bertuzi/franzon/legwand/cleary/samuelsson) Doc's predictions look pretty darn good.

Here is a thought, maybe kenny-boy holland can trade Datysuk/Howard/Clown Alfie and Zettyburg for the overall #1 pick and a bag of new pucks so the rebuild can "officially" be underway. If nothing else, at least babCock will have nice brand new pucks to start next seasons first practice with.....Deadtroit needs a lot of ...............................:help: ahhhhhhhhhhhh the tide is a changing and how Sha-Weet it is!

Go Leafs Go!

:canada:'s Team and :canada:'s best chance at Lord Stanley :hail:

Iggy, it wouldn't surprise me to see the Sedins get traded to Detroit during the off-season. Detroit must blow-up this team & start over.....get rid of the geriatrics such as Alfredsson, Zetterberg & even Datsyuk, who are on the decline.....Alfredsson should retire after the regular season, and i'm sure a team such as Florida wouldn't mind taking on an expensive contract or two in order to make the cap basement next season. Zetterberg & Datsyuk to the Panthers for picks & prospects maybe?

Detroit also has to do something about their defense & their average goaltending. When Niklas Kronwall is your best defenceman, then something is definitely wrong. Jimmy Howard and the Monster are good goalies, but they are not true #1 goalies.

This team will go nowhere unless the unload the geriatrics, seriously upgrade their defense, add a true #1 goalie to the mix. Maybe Jaro Halak? Or how about James Reimer? Maybe Martin Brodeur, who is in the same boat as Zetterberg & Datsyuk in that his best years are behind him? Old players such as Zetterberg, Datsyuk and Alfredsson are also considerably injury-prone due to their age.

Hmmmmmm,

The Sedins you say

1. Not Canadian, CHECK!
2. Not American, CHECK!
3. European, CHECK!
4. Older and declining skills, CHECK!

Yup, i could see this happening :thumb:

Very funny...but for leaf fans it's not a joke, it's the sad, sad truth after 47 YEARS of nothing but complete and utter failure.
