The leafs are currently riding a two game winning streak. They were badly outplayed and badly outshot as usual in both wins. They allowed FIFTY ENEMY SHOTS IN EACH GAME!! They also blew leads in both games and were very lucky to win each in overtime - otherwise the FIVE CONSECUTIVE LOSSES they had before this two game OVERTIME winning streak could - and probably SHOULD - have reached 7.

Canada's National Embarrassment (to be fair, "only" for the last 46 YEARS of complete and utter failure) has been outplayed and outshot in all but 4 games this season, but thanks to the beyond-their-skill-level performances of their two goalies, they are proudly holding on to 15th place in the league, which for a team as bad as the leafs is indeed a major achievement. Congratulations!

It's just too bad for the leafs that they play the Bruins tonight. Please say a prayer for Dion Phaneuf, who will be seeing two of the three things that scare him most in life, namely Zdeno Chara and Milan Lucic. (The third of course is John Scott.)

GO BRUINS GO !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is hillarious coming from someone who cheers for a team like the Red Wings which has ZERO toughness, other than a bunch of old Europeans & Scandinavians leading the pack.

Zero toughness? Maybe, maybe not - but the GOOD news is that the Wings have zero COWARDICE. (Hi Dion, hi Phil, hi departed Komi).

Q: What is the difference between a Detroit Red Wings fan and a pot hole?

A: I would swerve to avoid the pot hole!

Another difference: The Red Wing fan, with a) intelligence, and b)a REASON to live...will jump out of the way of the car. The LEAF fan, on the other hand, who is severely LACKING in BOTH of the preceding qualities, will AIM FOR the approaching vehicle.

Right name, wrong logo. LOSERTOWN (aka hogtown) is obviously where NOTHING has been won for 46 YEARS and counting.

HOCKEYTOWN, on the other hand, is where FOUR CUPS have been won in the last decade and a half (more than any other team) to go along with 2 other FINAL appearances amidst an unparalleled 22 consecutive years IN THE PLAYOFFS.

Dion's last trip to the box showed just how much a coward this guy is.

Can't believe they have this guy as a captain for so long.
Then again it's Toronto.
The crack smoking town of Canada !
