Quite a few times over the past season, whenever liars Therrien or Bergevin would address (or try to intimidate) the media during a press conference and say something about a player, my insider source would immediately text me "this is a lie", "not true" or "this is a boldfaced lie", etc. That team has the media by their balls. But most of their media are cowards. Rarely do they ask the tough questions anymore or push Therrien or Bergevin for the truth. One guy did during the offseason and got bullied publicly by Bergevin, who totally lost it and was confrontational with the reporter. It was totally uncalled for. Not many came to that reporter's defense for fear of getting blackballed by the team. Reporters have to ask lame questions or put up with the usual talking points or risk getting barred from the press room. That's the habs for you....the NHL's resident masters of propaganda!
