Well I hope the Habs have their act together Feb. 9th when they play the TB Lightning. I barely have enough time to check-in and scurry over to the Belle Centre before the puck drops!

There were a lot of fans dressed as red seats last night during the third period in their game against the Bruins. I have a feeling that from now on, it won't be too difficult to obtain tickets for a fair price. Personally, i wouldn't spend too much money going to see the habs these days considering you can watch the circus on tv for free.

Yesterday afternoon, Georges Laracque said on his radio show that he was 100% sure the habs would beat the Bruins and went as far as saying that if the Bruins won, the following day he'd go roll in the snow in the nude, which got a few chuckles from the other host. Well, Georges stuck to his promise:

From Jack Todd of the Gazette:

"Between himself and Allan Walsh, Drouin has trouble written all over him. Touch only at bargain-basement price."

Another Ryan O'reilly (problem youngster but.....) and he has turned out quite well in Buffalo. A mid range prospect, a #2 pick and a roster player and welcome to Toronto Mr. Drouin! Would be a awesome fit with Marner or Nylander centering him one day. (fun to dream ain't it?) :D

Look at what Buffalo's paying O'Reilly. They can keep Mr. Lady Byng!!!

I say FUCK JONATHAN DROUIN AND HIS ASSHOLE AGENT!!!

I hope Yzerman (the third-best GM in hockey after Lamoriello & Holland) makes them rot in hell!!!

Drouin will be traded but likely to a western conference team. Joe.t predicted the habs will get him.

If he does get traded. Drouin has no leverage. If some other team doesn't agree to overpay for him, Yzerman will let him rot at home or in the minors.

I actually hope Joe t's prediction ends up being correct. The worst place for this dickhead is in Montreal where expectations will be sky-high in that circus-like atmosphere which has been waiting for the next great white hope for decades. He and Alan Walsh will constantly give management problems. Which is okay, actually!

My gut-feeling is that he'll never live out to expectations and will likely end up being a first-round draft pick bust like fellow french-canadian Alexander Daigle, who was once a first overall pick.

Were the playoffs to start today, there would be no Canadian teams in the playoffs, which would be disastrous for the NHL according to reports. This would be the first time it happened in something like 46 years!

p.s. I predict the Senators will clinch a wildcard spot the final weekend.
